  • Relaxing, Peaceful, Great Views

"Our group of 3 couples loved our stay in St. Thomas at the Little Taj by the Sea. Our views looking out over the water were fantastic. We drank our morning coffee enjoying the sunrise and the ships coming in, and in the evening we would return from Abi Beach to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine in the pool. So relaxing! Marcus made arrangements for our taxi driver, James, to pick us up at the airport and he met us at the villa. After dropping off our bags, Marcus took a few of us grocery shopping. We got wine, beer, pop, ice, and snacks for the week. If we ran out of something, we would pick it up while we were out. Our transportation for the week was provided by James Dowe, Island Tours. He was reliable and friendly. Always told us the price upfront and we never hesitated to call him. (we used a couple of other taxi services while we were out during the week, but the villa is a bit tricky to find. We preferred to use James' service as much as possible.) We trekked down the path to Abi Beach almost everyday. We loved it there!! Quiet beach, clean bathrooms, wonderful weekend bands, yummy food (including Sat. night all-you-can-eat BBQ and Sunday brunch) and the best drinks!! Be sure to try the Lime in the Coconut for a refreshing change from other frozen drinks. Other days, we went exploring. We went for a day in the BVIs on See & Ski Boat Rentals (Capt. Steve) visiting the Baths at Virgin Gorda and the Soggy Dollar at Jost VanDyke. **saw a large pod of dolphins!! Super cool!! We also spent a day on St. John. Took the taxi to the ferry, grabbed a taxi to take us to Cinnamon Bay, and ferried home after a fun-filled day. Our other beach experience was at the Marriott Morning Star Beach Club. It was fun to see other beaches, but we all decided to spend the majority of our time at Abi Beach. We look forward to returning to St. Thomas in the near future. We can see why so many folks have relocated there!"

  • Outstanding location on St. Thomas!

"We just returned from 10 days on St. Thomas and stayed at the Villa Margarita. This villa was exactly as pictured and described on the HomeAway web site. The process of booking the house for our stay was handled by the owner, Jennifer, and she was prompt and responsive to all the questions we had. Jennifer did a great job of providing information about the house and making sure we knew what we needed to know for our trip. The house is located in a gated community and you sure feel like you are on your own island. The view from the house and pool is wonderful. I also liked the fact that the house had the kitchen/dining/living area separate from the bedrooms. The bedrooms are in their own "building" connected via a breezeway. The pool is above the house and has outstanding views of the Virgin Islands! There were many days where we just stayed at the house since it was so comfortable. I would recommend that you rent a vehicle with 4 wheel drive. The house is located on a paved road, but the roads have a lot of incline due to the hills/mountains and it was nice having the security of the 4 wheel drive. Also make sure you can take your vehicle to St. John, if you plan to go by car ferry. Some car rental companies don't allow that. Highly recommend reviewing the cruise ship schedule to try to avoid the crowds in the downtown shopping area. The only issue is that some of the stores may not be open if there aren't cruise ships in port. Having the cruise ships in port also affects the number of people at Magen's Bay Beach. While the beach is huge, it was much less crowded when there were no ships in port. I would recommend Villa Margarita to anyone that is visiting St. Thomas and has a party larger then 4! Clark"

  • Great week with the family at the Ritz

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Ritz Carlton Club. We are a family of 4, and had tons of space, the washer dryer was fabulous to have. Our view was spectacular, and the beach was nice and easy to swim and snorkel. We used the Ritz Carlton Hotel for their beach toys but found that we really didn't need to go to their beach other than the toys. The Staff at the Club were extreme accommodating and friendly. They really make you feel at home. We had a 2 bedroom in the Lilly Building room 4405. Housekeeping was great, I felt like our items were safe in the room, but I still locked our passports and extra cash away in the safe. There are 4 levels in each building except for the Grand Palazzo, the 5th floor has a restaurant. The rooms were clean. We will defiantly be back. Booking was easy with Tim. He made the process simple, and kept us updated as we got closer to our travel dates. Tim also followed up with us after the trip to make sure everything was satisfactory. I would defiantly recommend booking."

  • Nothing beats Island Stones

"As I sit here at the pool writing this review I have to brag on the view. The pics don't do it justice! The outside bar, the lounge chairs, the infinity pool, all overlooking the most gorgeous beach below. I've been to STJ many times and stayed in many different villas but this goes down as my favorite, by far! The beds are comfy, linens are great, well stocked kitchen, beautiful bathrooms, outdoor showers, & gorgeous stonework every where you turn. The house was spotless when we arrived and check in process went smooth. We never want to leave Island Stones! Thank you for this amazing villa to spend Christmas with family!"
