  • A Little Piece of Heaven

"We just came back from 7 wonderful days at Skyflower. Wow, this is such an amazing place. The views are breath-taking from the top of Bordeaux mountain. The pictures do not do it justice. We spent our mornings drinking coffee and taking in the warm summer sun and the cool ocean breeze. The location is perfect for taking in the sights and sounds in the middle and eastern end of St. John. The accommodations are excellent and the size of the apartment was more than enough for my wife and I. Everything in the suite is in excellent condition, and there's a full kitchen and modern grill if you're inclined to cook. Having spent the previous week at a villa just outside of St. Cruz I can assure you that Skyflower provides the best bang for the buck available on the Island. Bill and Jan are wonderful, and invited us up for drinks and appetizers one evening and we now consider them friends. Can't recommend this place strongly enough!"

  • Could have stayed forever

"Just literally (last night) returned from 8 days in St. John and at Bliss. Bliss lives up to every expectation, picture, and review. We were met at the Ferry by Prop. Management who was extremely helpful. Went with a friend - so two bedrooms were key/necessary. Plenty of towels - bath, beach, and kitchen. Up to date kitchen/appliances, tv's/cable, and most every amenity within the home that you need. We used the pool several times and as indicated it was virtually empty each time. The view from Bliss' deck is truly indescribable until you experience it - will miss having coffee there every AM. Leading up to the trip, Cynthia was beyond helpful with answering email questions and offering restaurant/rental/beach suggestions. Bliss is also conveniently located in Cruz Bay. 15-20 min drives to the north shore beaches which begin with Hawksnest, 5 to downtown Cruz Bay, Marketplace. Cynthia provides a cooler which was more than sufficient for our drinks, snacks, and sandwiches when we ventured to the beaches. Containers for some items were minimal and we didn't have ziploc's - so remember those when you go shopping! We I would definitely recommend a Jeep rental - beyond the freedom it provides, the hill to get to Bliss (everywhere for that matter!) is daunting (think roller coaster ride) and you get used to driving on the left pretty quickly. Some suggestions - bring K Cups! We almost cried when we couldn't find any but were able to at Starfish Market. Go to Starfish Market - albeit may be more expensive, it has everything a States visitor would need/expect in grocery store. We ate at Extra Virgin Bistro (excellent), Las Tapas (excellent) and some of the waterfront restaurants (which too were good). We ventured to Shipwreck Landing and enjoyed our meal there as well. We ventured for dinner to Asolare (reservations recommended) - amazing views, food was good too. First trip to St. John was a success and Bliss was a major part of that! I can't wait to return! I would also recommend to visitors travelling there."

  • The perfect location, cozy and comfortable

"We stayed in the downstairs apt from March 4 - 8 and absolutely loved every minute of it. Jennifer is a dream to deal with - very responsive, helpful and friendly. She jumped on every request! We were met by Mitch at the ferry terminal and whisked up the the apt where Jennifer met us to introduce us to this lovely little space. The outdoor patio quickly became our home away from home. This place is well equipped, clean and comfy. The location is ideal with a nice view out over Frank Bay - you can hear the waves breaking softly in the distance - but so close to town that a 10 min stroll takes you to some of the best restaurants in the islands. Fantastic meals at Morgan's Mango, Ocean 362, Extra Virgin and La Tapa! Cruz Bay isn't lacking in great options for dinner! That being said, head over to Starfish Mkt (better selection than Dolphin Mkt) and pick up supplies for breakfast. Prices on the island understandably are very high and it didn't seem worth $40 for an OK bkfst for 2 when we could easily whip one up in the well equipped little kitchen. Don't hesitate to book this place - its a little slice of heaven on earth and Anna & Jennifer are responsive and professional to deal with. We will recommend to our friends and will definitely be back!"

  • Beautiful view!

"Our family of 4 stayed March 2017 during Spring Break. The view is absolutely wonderful, especially on the 2nd level. The until was very clean, which is a big deal for us. It is small but we managed with 2 teenage boys and I would definitely do it again. We were so rarely in the room. My only complaint was the lack of an ice chest and a laundry basket. The ice chest was the biggest deal because we had to go out and spend $50 on one! We had to leave it behind, I hope the owners will keep it around for the next guest to use."
