It was exactly as described! The beach chairs, coolers and noodles were in great condition and very nice to have. The views are stunning and the house was the perfect size for the 2 of us. All linens were in excellent condition and the house felt very clean. Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect Getaway!! Even better than expected. The property was spotless and exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the bedding was very comfortable. The location was ideal. Close enough to all attractions, but definitely a qiet and relaxing area. We especially liked the outdoor space and enjoyed all of our meals on the patio overlooking Coral Bay.The host, Lois, was friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay, even providing local recommendations that turned out to be amazing. Her attention to detail was honestly amazing!!!! It was those little things, like a pen and notepad at the bedside; a small flashlight at bedside. These little items make a big difference!!!!! This was the perfect spot to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The villa had everything we needed. The views from here are amazing. A great way to kick back & relax after being out hiking or enjoying one of nearby beaches.

The view is EXACTLY as advertised and the photos of the property are current as well. What a wonderful place to relax and unwind, couldn't be happier with the experience. Renting a Jeep is a requirement, not and option, to get to the villa, the beaches and the restaurants. The grocery in Cruz Bay has everything you'd need and there are two just down the hill in Coral Bay that have most things as well. The beaches are amazing! Maho, Truck, and Cinnamon are all in the National Forest area and only 15 minutes or so from the villa. All the beaches on the North Shore road are wonderful, but those are our 3 favorites. Chilling in the private pool was fantastic and we were in it every day (salt system, so very clean and no chemicals). Spent one whole day just enjoying the villa and pool. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was huge and inviting. The kitchenette had everything you'd need and was more than adequate, as long as you don't need to cook a huge gourmet meal (no full size oven, but who cares). Plenty of beach stuff to use, and beach access at the 3 faves was super close to parking, so no shlepping issues. We enjoyed every minute and would rent this property again for sure. No need to add a photo since it looks exactly like the photos in the listing. Enjoy!

Absolutely stunning property, couldn’t have asked for better. Loved the outdoor shower and extras like beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers. I don’t have enough words for how amazing St. John is, there are so many beaches to explore and the snorkeling was amazing. I especially loved the tropical plants around the property that attracted hummingbirds, just the icing on the cake while enjoying morning coffees overlooking Coral Bay.

Breath taking views

Cute villa nestled in the hill tops overlooking Coral Bay. Excellent for a private getaway. This was our Honeymoon, and it was memories for life.Very accommodating.

Our Honeymoon

The Vrbo was as described. The owners and property manager were both very helpful, kind, and responsive to concerns or questions that we had. The owners also gave us great referrals for a sailboat ride with Joy and Rob! The only concern I had was a slight count off for cleanliness. I could tell the sheets on the bed had been washed but there were lots of stains on all of the sheets and pillow cases. There were also ants in the kitchen throughout the week. I understand this is an ongoing occurrence for them and they spray frequently for ants and other insects. The pool was AMAZING, as well as all other outdoor amenities. The views are amazing. Thank you for our honeymoon of a lifetime!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Villa Celeste Vista. The view from the deck, the private pool, the outdoor shower and the lovely amenities in the house could not be beat. The gift to take home and the cold champagne waiting for us when we arrived was icing on the cake and made our honeymoon absolutely perfect. We are already thinking of what anniversary (1st? 5th? All of them??) we will come back to St. John for, and there's no where else we would like to stay than Villa Celeste. If you are looking for a secluded retreat with a view that you will dream about, a book of recommendations for restaurants, activites and food (if you even decide to leave the deck and private pool), and a host that goes above and beyond - don't look anywhere else!! We will be back!

Truly Magical

The views alone are worth the stay, but the property itself is also stunning; no detail was overlooked and great communication with the host and her team. We loved the private pool and patio, it became our little oasis in the afternoons after snorkeling or hiking. We loved breakfast every day and evening drinks at the outdoor table, the view from the shower and the bed (loved waking up to those sunrises!), all the provided beach towels/coolers/etc, wonderful linens and towels, and very cozy decor (it was like a little bit of Italy in the Caribbean). We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful trip

My wife and I recently stayed 1 week to celebrate our 4th anniversary. All communication with Lois prior was fantastic and the same was true with David on island. The property is as described and is truly wonderful. The pictures do not do it justice.

Totally beautiful. My wife and I were celebrating our 55th anniversary. Not one disappointments on this trip. Highly recommend if you're looking for an extremely private place on the very quiet end of the island. Hope to going back one day .

1st time in St John;s

Property what absolutely gorgeous. It was exactly as portrayed. David the host was exceptional. Ted and Lois, the owners, were on site and all 3 couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. If we go back to St Johns, we would definitely rent this house again. Wonderful views, perfect location!!

An amazing anniversary trip!

We had the most amazing experience here! The views from the property are unbelievable. The home itself was extremely clean, well maintained, and very organized. We loved that the owners provided us with coolers, beach chairs, floats, and other necessities for the beach. We will definitely be back to this property!!

AMAZING VIEWS FROM VILLA CELESTE

As the title suggests the view from the Villa is stunning. The property itself is very well appointed - the bedroom/living area is pleasant and airy, there is an excellent bathroom with large walk in shower and separate large laundry/storage area. The cosy kitchen is very well equipped and accommodated our dining in when it was too windy to sit out. The vast patio area has an excellent and well maintained bbq and plenty of quality furniture. Access to the Villa with its fabulous position requires a jeep or similar (Lois made this clear to us) as the approach road is very steep. Walking to and from Coral Bay is not an option. As keen walkers, the remoteness did not suit us as much as it will undoubtedly suit others. Having said that, we’re pleased we rented Villa Celeste, had a wonderful time and shall return to St John.

This property was amazing! Our property manager was terrific and check in was super easy. The view from the patio is absolutely beautiful. The home was clean, comfortable and in a great convenient location. The worst part of this trip was that we didn’t stay here longer. Can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Celeste! The views are absolutely amazing! The size was perfect for the two of us for our honeymoon. Joy was so responsive and incredible! Coral bay is a nice peaceful retreat away from the noise of Cruz Bay! Don’t forget your jeep rental. It was a honeymoon we won’t ever forget!

My husband and I have been visiting St John since 1992. We fell in love with this beautiful island and couldn't wait to build a property. We've traveled the world but St John keeps calling us back. We currently live in Missouri and make it to our property about 3 months a year.
We love sharing our villa and do our best to accommodate every need. Having visited over 100 short-term villas, we take note and are constantly trying to improve our own villa.

We love the Coral Bay community. The views from our property are breath-taking. We love being on the quiet side of the island, where you are closest to all the best beaches. Trivia night (Johnnie Lime) and open mic night (Miss Lucy's) are a few of our favorite things to do. We get to mix with locals and tourists alike.
