"The staff was really nice. Walking distance to the beach and a short $5 cab ride to downtown red hook. Has a fridge, microwave, and mini kitchen."

  • BVI Cruising

"We chartered One Love with Danielle and Steve over Xmas week. Our family of five had a great time and Steve and Danielle did a great job. It was an experience we would do again and frankly plan on chartering a slightly larger cat next year. While everything worked out fine, there were a couple of areas that hold me back on an excellent rating. I originally chartered based off the reviews listed here and the website onelovecat.com. Those reviews were glowing regarding Bob and Debbie and the "gourmet" style of the menu choices. I found out about 3 weeks before the trip that Bob and Debbie had left and that Steve and Danielle had been hired. I found this out not through proactive communication to reset expectations but by me noticing the names had changed and asking the question. While Danielle did an very nice job on the food, it was different than what we had originally signed up for. Michael then offered me a "half board" option to eat more meals ashore but this was not why we wanted to charter this boat in the first place. The day prior to us leaving, he emailed me to tell me he could no longer pick us up as per the agreement and for us to find our own transportation (he did reimburse us) and that he wasn't able to secure an extra Kayak that he had agreed to provide 9 months earlier (for those of you that have been to the BVI, there are dozens of places to rent kayaks). The two stand up paddleboards listed on the site ended up being one inflatable paddleboard which had a hole in it and could not be used. Steve rented another one for us a couple of days into the trip. With three teenagers, having the toys was important. What really bugged me was the wifi didn't work. I emailed him a couple of days into the trip that I needed to connect for work and I would let the family use my hotspot but asked him to reimburse me the cost. The wifi was fixed on day 4/5 and I never heard back from Michael on reimbursement. When you spend $15k for a week, expectations are important and Michael fell short of meeting ours and no effort was made to make up for those misses. While I would recommend Steve and Danielle, I would be very clear about expectation because the website does not accurately reflect the experience that you think your paying for."

  • Great Views, Cool Breezes

"We just returned from a 10 day stay with June & Steve at Treetops. It was a great place to stay, convenient to Red Hook and high enough for a great breeze everyday with no need for air conditioning. Large accommodations and easy access make this a great choice. Rent a car when you go and explore the island and restaurants. Some of our favorites were Lobster Grille at Bolongo Bay for a more formal dinner and Iggies for a great beach bar, Slice at Sapphire Village, Lime at Pools & Pavilions (great Tapas and drinks) and Waterfront Bistro in St. John. For beaches we enjoyed Sapphire and Coki for snorkeling and Megans Bay for relaxing. Looking forward to our next visit to STT to enjoy Treetops and June & Steve's hospitality."

  • Perfect place to call home while you explore the islands

"The east end of St. Thomas is a great place to base your USVI/BVI travels in. You are a short hop from Red Hook car ferry, restaurants and charters, and have some of the island's best beaches in a few minutes drive. Sapphire Village gives you easy access to all that, or you can stay right here and have a nice meal at Slice, good beaches at Sapphire bay (or right next door at Lindquist) and there are excellent charters leaving right from Sapphire Marina. Why deal with parking and packing the car when you can walk out the fron door and be on the Breakaway in minutes. And when it is time to stay in you can't do much better than Seaglass. You want a clean and well appointed space with a comfortable bed, a good view, and the ability to make a nice cup of coffee and a light meal. You get all that at Seaglass, plus and owner who goes all the way to make your stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. For a couple looking for a nice space to call hime while they explore the islands you couldn't ask for a better spot. Oh, and even though we didn't use it, there is a waffle iron! Be prepared to make a few waffles :)"
