  • Gorgeous View!

"The home is located on a hill that gives you truly a spectacular view. 3 of the bedrooms are either on the main floor or upstairs & are very comfortable. I was not a fan of the 2 bedrooms downstairs as the walk to them is "dungeon-like." All the bedrooms do have a/c units & these are a must if you are staying in high humidity months. Unfortunately, the main living area does not have an a/c & it would have been nice to have that comfort in such warm weather. The home was very clean upon arrival but there is some TLC that is needed. The pool has missing tiles that make it look tired & there are cushions with rips in them that need to be replaced. The shower faucets look tired as well, they are clean but look very old. Keep in mind that there is NO jacuzzi - the smaller round structure by the pool is just a smaller pool. The two master bedrooms upstairs have a beautiful shower where one side is open to the spectacular view with beautiful plants for privacy. The only complaint is that these showers have very little pressure so if you are prepared with that mindset & do not expect powerful pressure then you will be fine. (Don't forget to bring your own shampoo/ conditioners/soaps as they do not provide this < which I think they should). Staying 5 days without fresh bath towels in humid weather is not a good idea so I would suggest paying extra for fresh linens daily as the humidity does not allow the towels to dry thoroughly. If you plan to use the pool or go to the beach, bring your own beach towels as the ones they provide are just old, small bath towels < again, I think they should invest in quality beach towels for guests & charge guests if they disappear. The property managers Sara & Heather do a great job communicating & taking care of your questions. The owner, Theresa is also very responsive to questions. I would suggest if you rent a golf cart to ask for the super rugged type with heavier wheels as the dirt road to the home has huge bumps and divots. Also keep in mind that you are in a jungle-like atmosphere, there are all sorts of bugs, insects, geckos & tons of moths. There is a family that lives on the property who take care of the home & I asked the lady if she could spray for bugs as there were so many & it made a huge difference. I think this is something that perhaps should be done without having to ask for it. (There is also a hornets nest on the outside shower by the pool which prevented us from using it)"

  • Casa Carino

"Loved the house. I think the main thing we could say about it was the fact that we could feel how well taken care of we were. Clearly well managed and very tastefully appointed and decorated. We love Sayulita and Casa Carino was perfect to enjoy it. We could hang in the house or walk a few minutes to beach or town center. And there are an amazing number of good restaurants in a very small - and walking distance - space. Highly recommend it."

  • Great house, great location steps from the beach

"We've been going to Sayulita for several years, and found the Los Delfines complex about 3 years ago. This last year, we stayed at Casa Cascada for the first time and would highly recommend it! The house was very spacious, there were 5 adults, and there was plenty of room to spare. It was nice to see upgraded appliances from previous houses we stayed in, and it had absolutely everything you could need. The palapas in the front/back of the house are great spots to enjoy coffee or a nightcap, and the pool is right outside the front door. While this house does not have a beach view, you simply need to walk around the corner to find it. The complex itself is directly on the quieter, north end of the beach which we like, and a short walk into the main square where you will find amazing local restaurants and artisan shops. You do not need a car here, you can easily walk everywhere as there are no hills to climb unlike other places in town. But I will say, renting a golf cart to get around is always fun! The house is well maintained by the resident property manager, and kept spotless on a daily basis by the lovely cleaning staff. I highly recommend Casa Cascada."

  • We are coming back!

"I spent the last ten days at this house with my wife and two of our four children. You cannot tell how good this place is from the website. Every one of our expectations was met or exceeded. The accommodations are great. The linens and towels are of the quality we would have at our own home. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked great meals there - except for the first night's which was prepared by Lucia, the housekeeper, and was by far our best meal of our stay (this coming from a non Mexican cuisine fan; although I may be a convert now!). The staff is superb, attentive and courteous. Barry, the owner followed up with us periodically to make sure we were comfortable and did not need anything. Having staff make our beds, clean our bathrooms and kitchen daily made us feel like being at a hotel, but with the privacy of a house. They even clean the patios and pool. We used the pool every morning and upon returning from the beach in the evenings. The views from our balcony were breathtaking! This was our second visit to Sayulita and the first to this particular house (our favorite now). We rented a golf cart to move about town but walked to the center of town from the house many times - it is a short and pleasant 10 minute walk. The nearby beach is within a one or two minute walk. We definitely recommend this house to anyone traveling to Sayulita. We will have to come back soon to even-out with our other two children! - FB"
