  • We left our hearts on the veranda of Casa Aguila

"If I could say it in pictures, words could not compare. I can easily and confidently say that this house was the best option we could've ever chosen to stay while in Sayulita. We wanted a surfing town, this house is literally on the sand. We wanted a house with a homey feel, this house has that in spades. We wanted a place were our group of friends could join us without feeling cramped, we were never wanting for space. Our favorite time though was time we shared in the most amazing part of the house, the veranda. Truly a special place. On the logistics side, if you've never been to Sayulita, as we never had, Richard is really awesome to work with. He detailed all the important stuff for us ahead of time. I was able to print out every bit of info we needed and it proved very helpful for all of us. We felt very taken care of the entire time. If you are beach people, this is the place to stay, hands down. If you want to be close to everything yet not in the middle of it, this is your house. Who needs an infinity pool on your deck when you have an infinity ocean in your front yard! Richard, Thanks again for your exceptional customer service before, during and after our trip."

  • An absolute jewel of a Place

"The house is built and decorated with exquisite sensibility and aesthetic, Indonesian window walls fold back for a full two wall aerie, the property is ringed with small sweet alters, care has been taken with every inch, every planting has been placed with love. It sits gently atop a bluff overlooking a valley populated by extraordinary sets of birds that come by at their appointed hour each day: long tailed blue swoopy birds and bright green parrots....looking out to the sea where each night the sun wears blazing peach orange and gold while sinking. The outdoor kitchen is steps away and open to the trees, makes it hard to cook inside ever again, never mind the shower which opens to the sun, trees, sea and air. Town and beach are a walk through the gorgeous jungle. We didn't have a car and were perfectly happy to walk in to town or beach and take a taxi back. The town is a jumble of colorful happy places and people, no multinational chain brand nonsense. My spouse, who has travelled around three world declared this the most beautiful place he had ever stayed. We will definitively be back. Thank you, Jay and Suzette for creating a place with such depth of feeling and beauty!"

  • Can't wait to go back

"We had a wonderful, relaxing time staying in the Casita. We would love to come back with family or friends and stay in the big house, too. The kitchen and bathroom was very well equipped, there were no missing details. Lisa and Daniel were lovely and Lisa's massage was probably the best I ever had. We walked into town every time we wanted to go, but we spent a good deal of time just by the pool or sitting in our lovely little home. The sunsets from the beach and from the casita were amazing and each night I woke up from the light of the moon shining into our bed. Highly recommended. The pool is the best!"

  • Casa Verde a Christmas to Remember

"The pictures do not do Casa Verde justice. Casa Verde is a beautiful home and Carol helped make the trip go seamless from the moment we were picked up at the airport to when we were dropped back off to fly home. The house is just a short walk to the North Beach which is beautiful. The walk into town is longer but was not bad and it was only 60 pesos for a cab ride back to the house. We had everything we needed for our family of four and it is so rare to find a three bedroom each with its own full bathroom. The AC was strong in every bedroom and we all ended up turning it off mid way through each night. We really enjoyed watching from the main level as Iguanas sunbathed in the trees. We cooked a lot at the house and we had everything we needed for family meals. From ATV Adventures, Jungle Zip Lining and a Boat Ride to the Islands, the house provided easy access to everything we wanted to do. This was definitely a Christmas we will never forget. We highly recommend this house and would stay there again. Thank you Carol!!!"
