  • Beautiful well maintained gorgeous pool and a security made us feel very safe 24/7

"It's not often that a place more than meets expectations but LA Joya was everything it promised and more. The suite was beautifully appointed, the location couldn't have been better; far enough away to be nice and quiet at night but yet close enough to walk to the beach or Centro within minutes. The staff were very helpful and arranged taxis , recommended places to eat, drink, and shop and a real bonus was they allowed us a late checkout on our last day so that we could enjoy our final day without having to pack up and vacate the condo early. We simply can't wait to come back again it was definitely a 10/10 in all respects!"

  • absolutely stunning

"If this rental is available during your stay then I highly recommend it. I stayed here for 7 nights and it was amazing. It is very close to town and some days I made 4 trips back and forth without even hesitating. There are a lot of roosters in Sayulita so pack ear plugs but otherwise enjoy every moment of the views and beauty of this rental and town!"

  • Better than advertised!

"My wife and I rented the casa for a week in late October. We agreed to meet Rene, the caretaker, at 6:00 and we arrived at 6:00 on the dot. Rene arrived minutes later. He was hospitable and gracious and showed us the house and grounds, gave us the keys, wifi passwords and the combo to the safe. We were all set up and within minutes we were on our way down to the beach to have dinner with our feet in the sand. Casa Amarilla is located on a dirt road on the jungle side of the hill in Sayulita. It's just off the road to Punta Mita as you circle around the back side of town due to the road construction blocking the usual access to Sayulita. Although there are two other rentals on the property, we had the place to ourselves. There are two parking spaces directly in front of the house. The house is well appointed and we appreciated the washer and the dryer. The pool was refreshing and we enjoyed having breakfast either out there or on the rooftop patio. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need. We had breakfast there but enjoyed some of our favorite restaurants for dinners. The TV reception was excellent as was the wifi signal. We watched the World Series while playing cribbage on the patio. It was very quiet at night and we enjoyed leaving the windows open to feel the breezes as the evening cooled down. All of the staff were helpful and kind. It was a fabulous week at Casa Amarilla and I would highly recommend it to all who are looking for peace and quiet away from downtown Sayulita."

  • You got what we need!

"Location, Location, Location. This beauty of a home will help you unwind as soon as you slide open the doors. Close to the fantastic village of Sayulita, it was an easy jaunt down the hill from the house to the beach, restaurants, and even the bus stop, if you choose to explore neighbouring towns/cities (i.e. Punta Mita, Beucerias, Puerto Vallarta, etc) . The home had a great layout with a huge living room, with sliding doors onto the Veranda and our own pool overlooking the majestic valley. The pool was a great way to start and end the day. We also enjoyed lovingly curated pieces of local art tastefully spread throughout the house. Basically, it was easy to relax in this place. Equipped with a large kitchen there was space to cook/socialize as a group and we had everything we needed to cook up your own meals when we decided to do so every now and again...however it was hard to cook with all the great food in town. From hot and spicy no look Al Pastor tacos (from Tacos el Ivan) to cannon burritos from Burrito Revolution, great coffee spots, pizza, to local artisans (I could keep going), this place was amazing! P.S. - Don't forget to look in the binder that Cal and Donna put together for the "to do's" during your stay. I've been to Sayulita multiple times...but I'm glad I took a peruse, it's a good resource. Highly encourage anyone thinking of going to Sayulita to book this place."
