"House, owner, and manager were all great. Tripadviser, through FlipKey and AirBnB, however almost ruined our vacation, by not advising the owner of our final payment, so, when we called the manager for access to the property, she advised us the reservation had been canceled. Thankfully, her and the owner were both very accommodating and helpful, and we were able to get in quickly. Assess from the main road can be a little tricky, especially after a good rain, and some of the surrounding area seems a little sketchy, but once you are here for a day or two, your comfort level improves. The house itself is great, with plenty of room indoors and out for relaxing the day away, or relaxing the evening after a return from a day in town. Would highly recommend and look forward to a future return. Highly recommend the Habanero Margaritas at Su Casa in town, and for fitness buffs, there is a gym two buildings down."

  • Perfect location in Sayulita

"We had such a nice time here in Sayulita from the restaurants to the beaches and cool shopping i don't think it could have been much better. We loved all the restaurant choices and were pleasantly surprised by how nice they all were. We felt we had a great private space as the home sits against the beach down a private driveway. what a view from the patio that looks up the beach I would recommend you bring sunscreen as we got burned the first day by not paying attention. Would certainly recommend the house as it was comfortable and clean. Thanks"

  • Private, amazing pool, amazing view. Very relaxing.

"We recently stayed at Casa Los Loros for 7 nights and had an amazing time. We were two adult couples from Vancouver, Canada and a spare from Miami, Fl. Firstly, I find it a bit odd that other reviewers keep moaning about the stairs. It's not THAT bad at all. In fact, I remember distinctly laughing about it with the posse. It's a big beautiful hacienda overlooking the jungle & ocean. There will be stairs. You will be fine. The road (Nanzal) to the place however... Wowza. Really steep and winding. It's definitely not good for very unfit types or the elderly or folks with mobility issues. Actually who am I kidding? It‘s GREAT for unfit types or taco whores like myself. But seriously, the walk from the house to town/beach is so beautiful that we actually enjoyed it a lot. When returning we would walk sometimes for excercise and get taxis more often. Aida, as per other reviews, was so great. A warm soul. She has a sweet little boy named Marcos Jr. and a dog named Bobby. We downloaded the pro version of an amazing translation app called iTranslate Pro and could converse with them over WiFi in almost real time. (BTW, said app is Star Trek level cool and helped around town as well). She made us an amazing traditional dinner one night and we insisted that she and her son join us. The pool was a bloody life saver. Sayulita is very hot & humid and we used it often. Coming from the Pacific North West we‘re not used to that kind of heat and it took a few days to acclimate. The pool is a perfect size and depth for all types of people. Oddly, the ocean feels even warmer. The pool is refreshing. We would definitely stay at Casa Los Loros again. We would definitely visit Sayulita again too... Actually if we had the pesos we would most definitely buy a place there. Sayulita is paradise! Randy, as per other reviews was a great digital liaison and we at no point felt left in the dark. You may see the odd critter in the house... This is normal for this part of the world. You‘re in THEIR jungle after all. We miss Sayulita so much. Back to work on Monday. :-( (Save me!) Pro tip: There is a restaurant in town called Yeikame (Yelp it). We loved it so much that we ate there for breakfast like six times. BEST huevos rancheros ever ever ever. Lunch & dinner great too. If you can't goto Bucerias for banking we found a solid ATM outside of Su Casa bar. Also outside the liquor store across from Choco Banana. The other ATMs in town are super sketchy."

  • escape from the rain at home

"Holy smokes.....The house is amazing. Perfect distance from town, just far enough that the nightlife sounds are diminished. Great kitchen for cooking, amazing pool and outside living area. Felipe and his wife were wonderful, respectful and helpful. We will come back in a heartbeat and maybe bring the extended family and rent the whole space. It was just what we needed. Our friends who were with us for the first 4 nights said that "this is what it would feel like to live like a rockstar". The ocean breezes flow through the house making it totally unnecessary to use the air-conditioning. We slept with all the doors and windows wide open. A totally amazing experience."
