  • Best vacation EVER!!!

"We visited Casa Rana Verde in July, and stayed 10 days. It was my first time in Sayulita, and even though we have been back in Florida for 3 weeks now, my mind and heart is still in Mexico. This location was so perfect for being within walking distance to town. My 7 year old daughter and I walked the beach every morning, finding treasure of drift wood and sea glass. We also would walk into town either via beach or through the surrounding neighborhoods. Felt incredibly safe at all times with my young children. We also rented a golf cart for the entire time, and had such a blast cruising around town and exploring. We went for Paletas EVERY NIGHT in town! We stayed at Casa Rana Verde with friends from Oregon, and NY. It was a reunion, and we had not been together in 15 years. This was the perfect layout for everyone to have their own space, but yet gather together for meals, sunset and pool time. We walked to the beach at night for sunsets swims, or sit in a patio chair, with margarita to watch the breathtaking sunsets. I am a photographer, and my camera was definitely put to great use while we were there. The gardens were gorgeous, filled with life!!! We sat in the morning with our coffee, and would watch the hummingbirds, and butterflies as they were so active! The songs of some of those birds, and the variety of them was something I have never experienced before. You have everything you could need or want at the property. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the luxuries of home, and more! The colors and decor was incredible, and I loved not only being in Mexico, but surrounded by the colors, art and culture of the decor!!! My family of four slept in the same room, and kids had their own bed. We all slept like babies to the sound the the ocean waves. Our room felt amazing in the AC, as it was quite hot outside in July...although we are used to the heat in Florida. The property was very private, and had so many places to relax. We even brought a hammock from home, to hang in the palm trees by the pool. There are many pool toys for the kids, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and quality boogie boards too. I believe these items were from Costco, and were the same ones we enjoy at home, so we were super happy to have these "luxuries" at the beach. We used the driver that is offered by Barry, & felt stress free getting to & from the airport. He met us at the airport, then drove us to a large mercado for groceries."

  • Casa Carino

"Loved the house. I think the main thing we could say about it was the fact that we could feel how well taken care of we were. Clearly well managed and very tastefully appointed and decorated. We love Sayulita and Casa Carino was perfect to enjoy it. We could hang in the house or walk a few minutes to beach or town center. And there are an amazing number of good restaurants in a very small - and walking distance - space. Highly recommend it."

  • Wow!!! We would give more than 5 stars if possible!!!

"It doesn't seem possible though this place is even better than the photos. We stayed for a week and wish it has been longer. The location is very secluded and peaceful. The property is very clean and well-maintained. We would recommend renting a car if you like to get into town frequently for meals. If you prefer to cook and remain alone everything you could possibly need is onsite and don't feel a rental car would be needed. I could not imagine staying anywhere else!!! We hope to come back very soon!!!"

  • Beautiful Views, well maintained, friendly caretakers

"Casa los Perros was an absolute treat to stay in. The large private deck and well equipped kitchen made for enjoyable romantic nights in. It is situated far enough from the plaza to avoid loud party noise, but is only a 5 minute walk away! Next door there are African tortoise's which were fun to watch as they had Aloe Vera for lunch. Greg was a wonderful host. We will definitely come back and stay again! Gracias!"
