  • Great location, everything you need with an awesome view. Home away from home :)

"Arielle was really easy to contact and communicate with, she is also very accommodating. We arrived almost midnight and she was there and showed us around and went over the apartment. Gated complex. A bit up in the hills, but view was killer. Apartment was great, everything you need is there, full kitchen with cooking items, some spices to start, wifi, tv, washing machine. The view from both rooms were great, was my favorite part of the place. Mornings were pretty warm but we kept both rooms sliding doors open to let in fresh air. Patio mornings were perfect, the place is quiet and peaceful. You really need a car to get around, but the Conservatoire is just down the street as well as small grocery and gas. Quick drive to the new Faaa Carrefour, airport and marche. Will be planning to stay here again on our next trip. By the way, get the correct address before coming because we were held up at customs because I didn't have the right address. I believe the complex name is Residence Horizons. Thanks Arielle!"

  • This Is a very relaxing home to stay while on vacation.

"We ha 7 people and we all had a great time. there are 5 toilets 4 showers. 2 kitchens and Ac in all bed rooms. The grocery store is 2 minute walk from the house. Le Meridien is a 5 minute walk and has a very nice beach. They have Happy hour every day from 5:30 to 6:30 all drinks and food are 1/2 off. The sunset is amazing from the Le Meridien. the house is located on a private street with a gate very secure and safe for my kids. The pizza guy in the parking lot has great pizza!! ( we ate his pizzas a lot)!!! house was very clean!! lots of beautiful plants and flowers on the property.. lots of mosquitoes (off works great at night.) We will be back and stay here next year."

  • Vaima Center Apartment is a gem

"The property is exactly as described. (The electric stove is now a gas stove which works very well. But make sure to turn the gas off when not in use.) The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is clean and airy. There are covered balconies on both sides of the apartment. There is air conditioning but we didn't use it. With the sliding glass doors opened on both sides of the apartment, the trade winds blew through and kept the apartment cool and airy. The location is fabulous. We are somewhat impaired so we had a car, but people with normal mobility wouldn't need one. All the shops, banks, restaurants and markets are within a few blocks. Champion ( a large French supermarket chain) is located about 6 blocks in the direction of the airport on Ave. General de Gaulle. A marina and tourist office are across the street. The ferry dock to Moorea is a few blocks down the waterfront. There are public busses that cover the island. These could be used to get to public beaches on either side of Papeete. Papeete itself is a lively, bustling town with interesting shopping and good restaurants. People are very friendly. (We speak French, which helps. But most people catering to tourists speak English.) The big Marche (market), about a block away, is a must-see. It has a large selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, and baked goods, as well as tourist trinkets and black pearls. A day trip to Moorea on the ferry is fun. It cost about 130 dollars for us with our car. It would be much less without a car, and there is supposed to be public transportation on Moorea. The excursion catamaran to Tetiaroa, "Marlon Brando's island," is right across the street from Vaima Center. Mr. Michel Tisse was extremely helpful with any questions we had. He arranged for us to pay for parking in the covered garage under Vaima Center. It cost 10 or 11 dollars a day, but was wonderfully convenient. His office is just a few doors down the street. We were at the apartment during New Years and he and his wife invited us to their large family New Year's celebration. They were wonderful hosts-- we felt very welcomed. We would stay here again. We certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Papeete. The restaurant bar "Retro" at street level in this building is a great place to meet local people as well as visitors from other parts of the world."

  • Wonderful place in Papeete

"Mon coup de cœur pour fêter mes 30 ans avec la famille et les amis. Une vue à couper le souffle, ouvert sur la nature. Un endroit calme, paisible, reposant : un véritable havre de paix sur les hauteurs de Papeete. Je rêve d'y retourner !!!"
