  • This house has it all.

"This home is simply gorgeous and is not your average rental property. Spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished to an extremely high standard. Quality everywhere from the newly remodelled chefs kitchen, to the beautifully appointed home office. The home has new flooring throughout which was gorgeous. Obviously a great deal of thought and skill has gone into decorating this home, and it exuded class. Terravita community was quiet, and transfer of membership was at minimal cost, allowing us use of the lovely clubhouse. (Great pasta night once a week, and chef Cliff was fab). Special thanks to owners Merrilee and Pete who were wonderful to work with and made us feel relaxed and valued. We absolutely loved this home and can't wait to return. Best we have rented in the USA over a 25 year period."

  • Perfect location for Spring Training

"Our stay at this condo was fantastic! The condo was very comfortable for the four of us; it not only had all of the amenities that we needed to cook at home but also was just across the street from some good restaurants. We enjoyed our dinner at Uncle Sals and grocery shopped at Bashas, which also had a great deli and bakery. Each morning we headed for the spa and pool, which were wonderful. We did, however, avoid the weight room and just enjoyed walking the numerous trails around the condo. We enjoyed the surrounding restaurants, convenient grocery store across the street, and the short walk to the Scottsdale Stadium to watch the Giants. We've been coming to Spring Training for the last 10 years and have decided this was the absolute best place we have ever stayed! We're looking forward to another Spring Training in this condo! Thanks, Brady, for making our stay one of the best! We will definitely recommend this property to our friends!"

  • A faultless experience, simply outstanding

"There is really nothing I can say other than the utmost praise for this apartment. Dana and Shawn provided excellent information on the apartment in preparation for my visit, as well as all the way throughout my stay. They really went above and beyond to make sure that I had a comfortable, enjoyable visit. The location is first class, with many terrific restaurants and very quaint stores within walking distance (Kierland/Scottsdale Quarter). The apartment was very well equipped, all manner of cooking utensils and everything else I needed for the stay. The bathrooms were great, too, very clean and modern. There was absolutely nothing they had not thought of. The beds were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was tremendous - I spent many evenings, with a glass of wine, just watching the beautiful sunset. Since I was staying in Scottsdale in order to take flying lessons, the proximity to the airport was great - I love aircraft so watching the planes was an added treat. The complex facilities (pool, fitness, lounge areas) were simply superb. There is really nothing in the least I could say to fault this apartment. I am also running out of superlative to express just how happy I was during my stay there. I was really sad to have to leave. However, I have already reached out to Dana and Shawn regarding my next planned trip to Arizona next year. I just hope the apartment is free at that time! Thanks again Dana and Shawn for an unforgettable trip to Scottsdale."

  • Awesome Troon North Townhouse!

"Susanne's Scottsdale townhouse was just what the doctor ordered for our family vacation in June of 2016. The townhouse, at 2700 sqft, provided plenty of open space - beats a tiny hotel room! The home was beautifully decorated in a southwest modern scheme, and the comfortable furniture had us happily cheering on our hometown Sharks and Warriors during the playoffs. Sure it's hot in Scottsdale in the summer, but we hiked (AM) every day anyway at nearby Pinnacle Peak (5 min) and not-too-far away McDowell Sonoran Preserve (15 min). Pinnacle Peak provides great views and is a more crowded, tourist-oriented trail - staffed visitors center, manicured trails, mile-markers, etc. but provides a great workout if you hike the full out-and-back. The McDowell preserve, once past the visitor’s center, gives one a better sense that you are hiking out in the desert. Fewer hikers and a rougher terrain make for a great hike. The 4.7 mile loop provides great vistas and did me in - given the hot weather. Bring plenty of water! We ultimately did not play any golf due to the high 100+ heat - other than a visit to "Top-Golf". The weather, by the way, was quite comfortable in the evening while we were there, due to the low humidity. Susanne's living room fronted the Troon North golf course. Golf courses in the desert tend to support lots of wildlife - we regularly saw rabbits, quail, roadrunners, lizards (including the larger chuckwalla), and chipmunks. No bobcat sightings tough! My wife and I are looking to retire to Scottsdale in a few years, and "try out" different locations every year or two. The Troon North location on the surface appears to be far out there away from the edges of civilization. In fact the nearest Supermarket/shopping center is about 5 miles away, although getting there won't take more than 10 minutes as you are travelling at highway speeds. A smaller shopping center only a mile away has a Walgreens and a few restaurants. It's about a 10-mile trip to get to a shopping area with department stores (Target, Kohls) and such - Frank Lloyd Wright and 101. If you like to have a place where you can walk or bike to a local coffee or bagel shop, this isn't it, but for a 1-week vacation, Susanne's location and comfortable townhouse can't be beat! We will definitely consider staying here again in the future, and potentially moving to this community in retirement!"
