  • Great location. Comfortable, kids and pet friendly house and fabulous yard

"This house was ideally located for us. A quick drive to the beach or downtown to state Street shopping and restaurants. The house is comfortable and well equipped. We slept with windows and doors open because it was a warm weekend and we were very comfortable. The yard was great for reading in the hammock, rope swinging, tetherball, and zip lining. You do need to be aware that you are typically sharing the yard with the renters staying upstairs. This worked out fine for us. We did have a couple of skunks and a few black widows greet us at night when we would come home late but you just need to have some light and be aware. The webs would go up quick at night on the stairway. We would definitely stay here again. Rebecca was very accommodating and responsive to every need."

  • Excellent

"An amazing stay in a very cozy and comfortable flat. Really nothing to complain about. The owners, Dana and Liz, are great, extremely warm and nice and make sure everything was smooth during our 6 week stay there. Flat is well made, full of light, with comfortable living area and main bedroom. Second bedroom slightly on the small side but our three young kids loved it anyway. Safe and family friendly area, 2Km from upper State street with private parking. Shopping mall with nice supermarket and restaurants (La Cumbre) also at 2Km, by State street. Would love to come back to Santa Barbara and will definitely choose this one again. Dimitris"

  • Beachfront Bliss

"This charming, cozy, beachfront cottage and annex provided the perfect setting for a relaxed family getaway. Inside and out, the buildings are well-maintained vintage bungalows. The galley kitchen and bathroom in the main house appear to be brand new, but both the main cottage and the annex featured comfortable, top of the line furnishings and bedding. The outdoor, ocean-facing deck has ample seating for dining or relaxing, and the four-function outdoor shower is a real treat after a day of surfing or building sand castles. The beach is very private, so you'll feel like you're in your own oasis. One of the major highlights was seeing pods of dolphins swim along the shoreline several times a day. A five minute walk down the road is the Padaro Beach Grill - perfect for delicious, casual dining. Jackie was a delightful, helpful, accommodating hostess. This is a special place and we hope to return someday soon."

  • review secret getaway

"We very much enjoyed our stay in Santa Barbara, a lot because of the nice apartment. The Secret Getaway is a wonderful place to stay, so close to the beach and downtown. We also liked the perfectly equipped kitchen that had as cook more often than we had actually planned, enjoying the small terrasse in the evening sun. Just perfect."
