  • A terrific rental in Borrego Springs

"This is a beautiful and very comfortable house. It is nicely located, a five minute drive from the Circle but in a very quiet and private corner of town. The house is well furnished, well equipped, and well supplied. The appliances are top quality and new. It was easy to cook in the full kitchen, and the grill in the back gave us another option. We had a few small issues, and the owners were very responsive to our communications. We used the heat for a few minutes every morning and found it quite effective. We did not have the opportunity to use the air conditioning. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and would definitively stay here again on a return visit to Borrego Springs."

  • Perfect Desert Retreat for One or Two

"This casita has all the modern amenities and a great location just minutes from the downtown area. It makes a great base for exploring all that the Anza-Borrego State Park area has to offer. I was also able to swim daily at a nearby resort for a very reasonable fee. As previous reviewers have stated, all the house's facilities are excellent - very comfortable bed, good shower, good wifi. The supplies - cleaning products, paper towels & toilet paper, etc were more than enough to last me my 5 weeks stay. The only downside was a driveway that is a bit difficult to negotiate when the second house on the property is also occupied (easily solved by just parking at the roadside) . The owners are not nearby, but respond quickly to email or phone call."

  • Comfortable and inviting house for a group

"We are so glad we found this house. It was perfect for our extended family of two couples and two singles, with plenty of room to spread out and do our own things or sit together and chat. A binder chock-full of information about the house and the local area helped us to get oriented and plan our activities. A book collection helped to guide our hiking excursions and satisfy our curiosity about local geology. Hummingbirds came to dine on the flowering shrubs, and a coyote eyed us from a safe distance. Our group of young and old found plenty to do in the Borrego Springs area during our four days there: hikes for the vigorous, an off-road vehicle tour for the less vigorous, a day trip to the wildlife refuges and mud volcanos near the Salton Sea. The booking process was straightforward and the property manager responded quickly to questions."

  • The casita was a very comfortable and quiet oasis.

"The wife and I wanted a nice place to stay while watching the Perseid meteor shower. We actually saw more shooting stars from the comfort of Judy's casita-second-story balcony then from the golf course nearby. During the day we napped on the comfortable beds and made meals in the functional but beautiful kitchen. The WiFi did not buffer as we watched movies on the couch from the coffee table that pulls up to just the right height. Once the sun started to set, we used the pool which was like a bath tub--very inviting from the summer heat. We explored the area with our dogs and saw a coyote that lives nearby--scrawny little fella. Judy (the owner) was very helpful by responding quickly to questions. So, Would I stay here again? Yes, in fact, we might buy a vacation home in the area as a result of our experience. Try the place, you won't be disappointed."
