  • Great the Second Time Around

"I stayed at 43 Palms for 3 1/2 months in 2011 and wondered if would be as relaxing this time around. The answer is a definite "yes". I love the vintage of the house, the solitude and the amenities, namely the pool, hot tube built in grill and ping pong table. We only stayed one week this time and wished we could have booked longer but it was already booked solid. The flowers in the desert were great this year, it's a nice time to escape the cold and find refuge at 43 Palms."

  • Borrego Golf Outing

"We have been going to Borrego Springs for the last 20 years of so. We bring 12-16 men out to play golf for the week. We normally rent 4-5 homes. This is our first time renting this home , it did not fail to meet our expectations. Mater of fact if we are lucky enough to get this house next year it will be out host house great grounds and plenty of space."

  • Good location, clean but needs some up keeping items.

"Love this Borrego area. One the best golf courses you can play. Had to change a few burned out light bulbs and the drains in the front bedroom were very slow. Needs the light in the Master shower to be replaced and porch light needs work. Kitchen was well stocked for any type of cooking. Very quite area and wonderful night sky. Two couples worked well and could see a larger family being fine."

  • Quaint & Cozy Get-A-Way Retreat in Borrego Springs

"This was the perfect place for me and my wife to simply get away and be alone together. We live busy lives enough, so we were looking for a place to do absolutely nothing. We weren't looking for a place with a lot of local activities but a place to simply unwind and relax. The place was spacious, cozy and exceptionally clean. The kitchen was completely stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and appliances along with basic cooking accoutrements (i.e. cooking oil, spices, etc.). The bathrooms were stocked with basic toiletries (i.e. soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.). We spent three days "vegging" by taking advantage of the Kodi TV app and watching movies (most of which were still in theaters). The back outdoor patio very spacious and was great for early morning coffee, admiring the scenic mountainside, and catching a glimpse of a few local hummingbirds that frequent the area. In the evenings, we were able to enjoy the warmth and comfort of the fire pit and glance at the brightly shining stars above. I absolutely loved the eclectic southwestern decor of each of the rooms and the adorable touch of little "wildlife footprints" that were embedded into the tiles on the floor throughout the house. The house is located just walking distance from Christmas Circle where you'll find most of the local eateries."
