  • Gorgeous location

"We really enjoyed staying at this location - a vintage Avion trailer surrounded by gorgeous desert views and nestled inside a charming RV park. The kids enjoyed swimming in the heated pool & we enjoyed the hot tub. The evening under the stars with a full moon and a cozy fire in the Chimnea was quite magical. And hiking up the nearby mountain was great. There were a few issues with the trailer that made our stay a 4 star instead of 5. There was no carbon monoxide detector inside the trailer and a strong smell of gas permeated the kitchen area. Also the trailer & outdoor dining areas were quite uneven. Other than that everything was comfortable inside the trailer. The beds worked out well for our family of 4 and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. Overall a great stay!"

  • Wonderful

"We loved this place. It had a ton of space, and felt like your own private compound. Fully fenced, so we didn't have to worry about our dogs getting out. We played badminton and ping-pong, had fires both inside and outside (one of the fireplaces is an awesome Malm) and enjoyed the spa in the evenings. Full kitchen with all supplies, and just a great mid-century house. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended!"

  • Comfy and nice for a family get a way.

"We spent New Years weekend together as a family with our adult children. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable. The views looking out to the valley to the east were so beautiful and ever changing. We enjoyed walks. Golfing and had some wonderful meals at the country club including New Years dinner. We hope to be able to use this place again."

  • Perfect location for a few days in the desert...

"We (two couples plus 2 kids at an age of 1.5 and 3.5) truly enjoyed our 4 day stay in your 'Borrego dig'. We also enjoyed the southwest / pueblo revival architecture which seems to be the most appropriate in such an desert environment. The house is very spacious with an open floor plan, well furnished and had all of the necessary amenities: a well supplied kitchen (the little things you usually forget like salt, pepper and other spices were even available), nice baths, and a WiFi that works well. We can not comment on the TV as we never switched it on. The neighbourhood is peaceful and very quiet and the unobstructed views (there is only one close neighbour to the north west) of the surrounding mountains for the colourful sun set, the blinking stars on the very dark sky at night and the stunning sunrise in the morning were awesome. There are obviously a few desert critters around so you need to keep an eye on the kids... The property was exactly as described (there seems also to be a dishwasher in the kitchen but strangely we were not able to locate it ;-). The home was clean and well-maintained. The owners were very responsive to our few questions."
