  • One week in a spacious and stylish flat, great location!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this big apartment, very roomy for a couple. Clean, nice decor, unique art and furniture. We met some of the neighbours (Carribean restaurant, shops etc) and felt very welcome. The building is unique, just a few other daytime occupants, artists etc. The apt was cold when we first arrived but heated up quickly. The only issues we had were the bathtub and kitchen sink. There is no dishwasher (we don't like them anyway!) but the sink is so shallow you can't really wash at all, water gets everywhere. More imp, the tub is an old fashioned clawfoot with a circular shower curtain. There is nothing to hold onto, very dangerous. A seated bath would be fine but there is no handheld shower, only the rain shower head high overhead. A great apt if you can overlook the sink and tub."

  • Much needed getaway!

"My husband and I had a great stay at Driftwood with our two little girls. There was a spacious front and backyard for the kids to play in. The owner was easy to work with and made it a breeze. Everything in the home was easy to find and well labeled. The water filter in the kitchen was a bonus, as we did not need bottled water during our visit. The girls loved the rope swing and tetherball in the front yard. There was plenty for them to do at the house without bringing anything from home. Although the caretaker lives on the property we never saw her once so it felt very private. We only did the trip to the beach once as the walk was pretty long, and the climb over the driftwood to get the beach itself was a bit much for us. With that said the beaches in the area were really fun as there is a ton of driftwood on every beach in the area, and our kids had a blast building at every beach we explored during our visit. We went to Manchester Beach, Irish Beach, the Point Arena lighthouse, and some other places with coastal access. We checked out the towns in both directions. We did laundry once at the Wash House in Anchor Bay. Our favorite spot for dinner was Bridget Dolan's Pub in Elk. The Elk Store makes great sandwiches, and we did a few picnics with those. The breakfast we had at Circa 62 in Little River was well worth the drive. We went into Fort Bragg and had fish and chips and chowder at Sea Pal Cove. Manchester seems to have more fog that some of the surrounding areas, but we had a great time staying here. Although we prefer a property with easier/closer beach access, I have to say the view from the property was amazing. Overall, a wonderful vacation house that I would definitely recommend to others.."

  • Wonderful and spacious home for the entire family

"This was our first trip to the Sea Ranch in quite some time. The accommodations and the size of the home was great for our party of 10. The location and the price were GREAT. We will definitely be staying at this home again."
