  • Amazing house, amazing view.

"What a beautiful house. Our family gathered there for a week and had a wonderful time. The pool and hot tub were great and there were lots or pool toys for the little ones. The view was truely amazing and the sunsets unbelieveable. The kitchen had anything you could ever need and with two smaller refrigerators besides the one large one, there was plenty of room for extras. We had a party one day and were able to carefully fit 8 cars in the circular driveway. There is no parking on the street. We stored lots of extras in the huge laundry room that has 2 washers and 2 dryers. The owner David is very nice and easy to work with. We loved the fact that there was a huge bedroom suite at the far end of the house where we put the teenagers."

  • Wish it was mine!

"Perfect location, Perfect sunsets. This place was great for family reunion. Conveniently located, exceptionally well-equipped with anything one might need (spices for cooking, foil, etc). In walking distance of shops and restaurants. One evening we had a dinner gathering for family and friends and there was ample room and everyone was in awe of the view and location. Had more people ask 'how did you find such a place?' No one was ever cramped. We 4 felt 'at home' in this comfy, contemporary spacious condo. In less than a 10 minute walk you we're overlooking the Pacific. Dean the owner was great, about checking in with us and making sure we had everything we needed. You can't go wrong with this condo. It's definitely a little slice of La Jolla Village paradise. Only thing missing...more time to enjoy!"

  • Bears Win!

"A bunch of friends rented the whole house for a long weekend to go watch the Bears game. The house was perfect since it had 7 bedrooms and it was 7 couples..great location, close to shops, restaurants..we seriously didn't even move our rental car. Very clean and had pretty much anything you would need. Great view as well. Would definitely recommend this place! There was only ONE thing that was a bit annoying..the house has three parking spots and if you have more cars you need to park in the street because there is another home behind..which is perfectly fine, we were aware we only had those three spots, one being inside the garage..we however were tailgating the day of the game and needed to load the stuff before taking off so parked in the driveway to load up and the lady in the back immediately came out to tell us to move. Again that was fine we had no problem doing it, it was just the way she said it..she had an attitude as if we didn't do it or were bothering her. She was just rude. Besides her attitude towards us everything else was great!"

  • Great Location!

"The condo was very spacious, the price was reasonable for this area, and Robyn made everything very easy for us! And, having a designated parking spot was a real plus. Part of our goal in selecting a place to stay was to avoid having to drive very much, if at all, and this condo answered that need really well! With the exception of a trip to the Birch Aquarium, we didn't get in the car at all until it was time to leave - everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. For our needs this location really couldn't have been better. It was great to have a full kitchen and so much space. We cooked dinner a few nights when we just didn't want to go out into the La Jolla scene and we also enjoyed being able to watch a movie in the evening on the large screen TV. With two large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a large family room, dining room and kitchen, there was plenty of space to spread out and relax. That said, there are a few things to bear in mind about the property: 1) there are no windows that open, so apart from the sliding door to the small deck, that overlooks the alley where you enter the building and the doors that open off of the bedrooms, there is no easy way to let fresh air into the place. Since the doors in the bedrooms open onto somewhat public space - you share the entrance area with a few offices - we didn't really feel comfortable to open these doors much of the time - certainly not at night when some cool, fresh air would have been nice. Of course, the ocean is just a short walk away, so this is not a major issue. 2) Getting into the condo requires climbing two flights of stairs from the parking garage. Not a big issue for us, although it did take several trip up & down to bring our stuff up, and if there had been an elevator we would definitely have used it. This would probably be an issue for anyone who has trouble with stairs. 3) The AC works great overall, but it seems to cool some rooms a bit more intensively than others. Since there were different ideas about just what comfortable feels like in our party, finding the right thermostat setting for everyone was sometimes a challenge. Overall, the condo served us well, and Robyn is super easy to work with! If you're looking for a place right in the heart of La Jolla village and just a short walk from the cove, this condo is definitely worth considering!"
