  • San Diego Perfection

"This was by far one of my families best vacations to date and the property is just as we expected it to be. We had 5 adults and 1 toddler (21 Mo. old) and the property was perfect. Ample sleeping areas for all 5 my wife and I enjoyed the master suite with perfect views of the Pacific Ocean while laying in bed each morning, we would leave patio door opened every night just so we could hear the surf crashing on the beach. My daughter and her husband stayed in second bedroom and placed a porta-crib in the room for there daughter and still had plenty of room to move and get about. My son decided to stay in living room on the pullout sofa-bed which typically are very uncomfortable but he said was just the opposite and slept great every night. The only downfall with living room was the window shades did not function and well when sun came up he was up. Kitchen was perfect upgraded appliances throughout and plenty of dishes and silverware for everyone. cupboards are stocked with all the cooking utensils and cookware you could possibly need. BBQs were a short walk downstairs but worked perfect and prepared several meals there. This property is located within 15 minutes of downtown San Diego by car, and there are restaurants within walking distance to the rental. You can walk south from property along the beach front walk to Belmont Park in Mission beach where there are restaurants, great shops and small amusement park for the kids to enjoy. Or walk North from the beach house to pacific beach for more shops and restaurants all within 10 minutes walk. The staff were great Mel the buildings maintenance supervisor was just the best very responsive to any question and very polite and open to assist with any concerns which we had none but he always said hello and would ask if there was anything he do for us. Steve Springer the rental contact was also superb from before we got to rental with questions to even the ones we had while there. The views are absolutely beautiful watch the sunset from either balcony every night was an unobstructed view. The only downfall that we really encountered was additional parking, the rental has 1 spot located in a garage below and it was perfect for our GMC Yukon as long as you follow the correct ways to exit and remember to ensure your vehicle clears 6' 6" that's the max for the garage. Any additional vehicles must be parked away from the rental about 3 blocks away was best area we found during our stay on Sa"

  • Last minute 4th July Family Trip

"July 2nd, 2016 - We booked this house 3 days before we travelled to San Diego from Phoenix for 4th July. We were able to negotiate a great (last minute) deal with the rental agency who were very good to deal with. We were two families of 9 total; 4 adults, 5 kids age 5-12. The house was really great, though at the time of booking the pictures on the listing are out of date as there is new furniture in the house. Including a king bed in the master and twin fulls in one of the other bedrooms. The master bedroom is huge and really nice. No ceiling fans but floor fans provided; though leaving the windows open lets in a gorgeous breeze. Can watch seaworld fireworks from master balcony. Master bath did NOT work (no faucets.) Other bedrooms were great. Nice size, nicely furnished, lovely bedding. Plenty of towels, including beach towels. Good ceiling fans. (No AC) Kitchen was very well equipped and spacious, though ice maker didn't work and the fridge had some shelving issues. The dishwasher could do with new drawers but it worked. TV in the lounge is mounted a little high and you have to sit and lean way back on the couch to watch it. The couch doesnt really provide seating for the number of beds in the house (10) but often you don't all sit there anyway. Bonus was the patio/balcony off the lounge that had a reasonable ocean view. The walk to the beach was very easy too! Plus there are stores and eateries up the road on Mission Blvd. Bayside is a 1min walk away. The location was great for 4th July - on the QUIET end of mission beach. The street is quite lively though but was never too loud. Approx 0.7m walk to Belmont Park. 2.5m walk to the Pier. Parking garage was surprising - we fitted in an F150 truck and a large Infinity SUV plus our bikes down the middle! Boogie boards, beach chairs and toys were included. Would return to this house."

  • Terrific South Mission Beach Rental

"The property is really nice, it's amazing to see the number of units that are in this single property. We were two couples, had plenty of room, the views from the house were terrific was great to hear the ocean literally everyday. We had a busy week, so we were at the house and all over town & location was perfect for that. We knew up front there was no AC, & of all the times of the year it was actually humid in San Diego when it never is, and the lack of bathroom fans was surprising given that this is an upscale property. Ceiling fans would also be a better option in all of the rooms instead of the fans that were there- not efficient. The parking space is as reported earlier, TINY. We had a mid-size SUV, one of the other renters hand a large SUV and it was tight. So beware it could be an issue with a large vehicle. Process of checking in and out was simple,we truly enjoyed being able to take a walk on the boardwalk every morning to the PB Pier and back, breakfast at the Mission (on Mission Blvd not the boardwalk) is a must for anyone staying- they're excellent, we also spent time at Belmont Park /Rollercoaster area, had pizza at Luigi's on our first night settling in, and lunch on the boardwalk at Draft, South Mission Beach which was also good. Vons and Ralphs are nearby for groceries, across the street is the Bay Front, which is great for walking and quiet picnics. We were up on the top level, which was perfect for us, we liked that there was space for us and not cramped, the condo was 3 levels, with a upper patio, it's a shame that the 2nd level (living room/dining) didn't have a balcony, but it does have a large patio door with a table right at the window to sit and take in the views. Very clean upon our arrival, however the trash can/recycle bin was overflowing and had flies on our arrival (trash day is Tuesday & apparently the recycle bin wasn't put out from the week before our arrival) No complaints, only minor issues that can be easily fixed as noted above. Would rent again when we return for our annual trip back home to San Diego!"

  • Perfect!

"We loved this property! It was stocked with more things than we could use...for indoor and outdoor activities. Everything was in good working order and clean. It was a perfect location! The owners were always in good communication from the minute we booked. We will be returning to this property and will...and, already have...recommended it to friends/family!!"
