  • Great Location, clean apartment

"While planning our trip to San Francisco, we were considering staying in the luxury hotel/apartment suites just across the street. We decided to check VRBO 3 bedroom apartments for rent in the area, and came across this flat. While we would not call this place a luxury apartment, it certainly fit the bill for our family of four- at a fraction of the price of the hotel we considered. Keyless entry is a plus. Once inside, you walk up a flight of stairs to the main corridor- no handicap entry. To the right you will find a bedroom with twin beds and a cot, next to that is a small living room with television. (Only real complaint here is the street noise.) The buses and cable cars stop just in front of this building, and there was some major construction going on- so ear plugs were necessary to sleep. Heading to the rear of the building, there is a bedroom with a queen bed and small bath with tub/shower, next down the hall a bath with a large shower, a closet with a washer and dryer, and to the back a well equipped large kitchen with dining table and 6 chairs. Off the kitchen there is another bedroom with a queen bed, and a small balcony with some nice views. Shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap were all provided. And, although, we did not have a car- the flat comes with a fob to park nearby- which would be very convenient if you have a car. Next door to the apartment is a nice little coffee shop- known for their Lavender Lattes, we stopped in here each morning. The WiFi in the apartment was slow, but the WiFi from the coffee shop worked pretty well in the apartment. Around the corner and across the street is Ghiradelli Square with lots of little shops, some places to eat and, of course, chocolate. Then, just a block down there is easy access to the waterfront. A few blocks away there is a Safeway and Trader Joe's, where we stocked the kitchen with staples- an easy walk. The Ferry Building is a good long walk, but easy to get to. Overall, it is a convenient location, clean place with nice amenities. Main complaint is the noise factor in the front two rooms."

"Property was as described. No disappointments at all. Location could not be better; very close to all the sights and sounds that SF has to offer. I would not hesitate to return."

  • Terrific location and convenient parking

"Perfect location. Bus stop in front of condo. Across the street from Ghiradelli Square for restaurants and shopping. Convenient to groceries. Very nice unit. Historical so it has character but also modernized kitchen and baths. 3rd level so lots of steps."
