  • Exceptional Apartment in great part of town

"Richard was the easiest person to deal with over booking this apartment. Nothing was a problem. Everything was as described. The views from the bedroom and small lounge room were what you want when staying in SF. Everything worked, great beds and a central point to explore San Francsico. We will be back!"

  • Trust the reviews! This place deserves all of them.

"We sojourned in San Francisco for two months as part of our post retirement, round the world trip. The desire is actually live in various cities around the globe for an extended period and get to learn to live local as much as possible. We stayed at David's home the entire time. It became our home for that duration and we loved being there. We were a little skeptical to see such glowing reviews of the property, seemed to be too good to be true, but they are 100% representative of his home. He takes special pride in catering to the needs of the tenants, is extremely attentive and a pleasure to deal with. We booked the place almost 18 months ahead of our arrival and there was great communication all along. David put our minds at rest and we were confident in finding what we were looking for ahead of time. He even told us of the best way to register our license plate for the various bridges in the area and this was both convenient and money saving. Little things like that are a real difference. The location was perfect for us. We walk everywhere and we could walk to the ocean, we could walk to Golden Gate Bridge, we could walk to Downtown. We were close to Haight Ashbury, the Castro, the Presidio, and spent a lot of time in nearby Golden Gate Park. When we wanted to take a bus, we rode the Muni all the time, there is great access with several close routes. The home is spacious and very well appointed. We largely cooked for ourselves and the kitchen has state of the art appliances and is fully stocked with everything you could ever need. In addition, don't discount the fact that one of the larger grocery stores in SFO is located on the next block, Lucky's, and it has both a large selection and good prices. We were there all the time. One of the selection criteria for selecting a location in SFO was the available garage as we had driven across the US and Canada and wanted to have a car for day trips in and around the Bay Area. The parking is very tight for a mid sized car, Ford Fusion, but ahead of signing the lease David validated the dimensions of both my car and the available garage space in order to ensure that we would be able to use it effectively. We did, tight squeeze, but we did it. There was great cooperation with the upstairs neighbors in this regard as well, nice people. David provides a cleaning service every two weeks, which is a luxury, and well appreciated. You should have no reservation in using this property!"

  • Lovely apartment in quiet neighbourhood near beach and park

"We loved staying in this apartment. The actual accommodation was very comfortable with everything we needed. The garden was beautiful, although we didn't spent much time in it. The neighbourhood was quiet, but was only a short walk to local shops and restaurants. Charmaine and Robert were the perfect hosts - helpful without getting in our way. A few tips: read the visitors book as there is lots of info in it (we only looked at it just before we left); get a MUNI pass on your phone if you are planning to use the bus a lot - it takes a while to get into the centre but there are a few good routes."
