  • Just Perfect!

"My wife and I plus our three month old son recently stayed in the cottage for a quick weekend to wine country and the cottage was absolutely perfect. First, Kristine was an amazing host making sure we had all the directions we needed in advance, that the cottage was well stocked with anything we needed, and even offered to pick us up anything from the store ahead of time as we were arriving a little late in the evening. The living area is quite spacious and the king size bed was great. Traveling with such a young child can be a little tricky but she made sure there was a pack and play (collapsible, fold away crib basically) for our son to sleep in. The kitchen accommodations are basic, including a microwave, small fridge, and a hot plate but it was well stocked and definitely got the job done for cooking breakfast in the morning. The gardens are beautiful and make for a great place to sip some wine in the evening. The location is perfect, just minutes from Healdsburg but definitely with a feel that you are in the country - the perfect combination. I highly recommend staying there, I'm sure we will next time we're in the area!"

  • Great location, cute house with a beautiful view of a vineyard

"My girlfriends and I attended a wine festival for the weekend and this was a great central location! We could be in the heart of Healdsburg for shopping and dining in only a few minutes and we were also in a central location for all the wineries that participated in the festival. The house was cute, clean and had most of the essential amenities. The one bathroom was not very functional since there was nowhere to put your toiletries while in the claw-foot tub shower... but was a minor inconvenience considering how great everything else was at the house! We loved the hot tub! It's a beautiful setting on the edge of a vineyard and next to a small rose garden, made it very enjoyable after returning to the house from a long day of travel! We would definitely stay at this property again!"

"We loved this villa for our family reunion. We enjoyed visiting the whole area and lounging by the pool too. Spectacular grounds, house and layout for a big family."

  • A beautiful home in a great location

"A group of friend and I stayed at the Spring Canyon ranch property to celebrate a friend moving from the Bay Area as well as my wife doing the Vineman Ironman competition. The house is amazing. Everyone when they arrived commented how "cute" the house was. We also noticed how remarkably clean the house was as well. It was above and beyond what we would have expected. The owners are also great. They left us a bottle of wine and nice welcome note when we arrived. The patios and grill make of a nice dining experience and a great place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. In terms of location it is perfectly located on Chalk Hill Road near HWY 128 which makes it great for wine tasting. In fact a vineyard is less than .25 miles away. In regards to future Vineman competitors, the house is located on the bike course making it a great spot for people to cheer on their friends. My friends and I will definitely return to this house soon. Thanks again!"
