  • What a blast - love this family home

"We brought our family for a quick getaway with my inlays. We have 2 teens and one child who is 6, and one that is one. I cannot speak better about this home. The owner is my sisters good friend, and my sister didn't event think to tell me how awesome it was. She just said, go - you will love it. Wow - we loved so much about it. It felt like home. I guess since they live there part of the year it made us feel really comfortable with having our children there. They left out toys for the kids to play with, and a highchair for our little guy, and even asked if we needed to use a stroller or playpen. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. I could tell the home was loved. We spent what time we could outside due to the weather, but that was really fun - there was a mini playground, trampoline, small bocce court, rope swing, and not to mention of course the hot tub (we didn't use the pool for obvious reasons). We spent the evenings in the courtyard with the fireplace that was just built- and it had beautiful lighting all around it.. This home is a family paradise, or adults of all ages - although I would say that more elderly people wouldn't appreciate it as much, as it is more of an entertaining home. We can't wait to go back in the summer and try out more fun things they are creating there. I highly recommend the owner and the home."

  • Beautiful private hilltop escape

"This property is beyond compare! Our summertime stay meant we spent most time outdoors - lazing in the hammock and sun-loungers by the pool, swimming, and dining on one of the many decks. And of course, the nightly hot-tubbing for shooting star-spotting was wonderful. The home is very well appointed - incredibly comfortable, clean, stocked with towels, linens, kitchen implements, bbq etc - really everything you could possibly need and all super easy to locate (which means more time doing the fun stuff!). I have to say the most magical experience was waking up early in the morning and finding ourselves on our own little "island" as the fog had settled in the valley - leaving us with views above the clouds. It goes without saying that the wineries of this area are stunning - both in environment and their wines. One final and very important note: the owner of this property is fantastic - prompt, clear, helpful, generous - I could go on and on. A true pleasure to work with. I can't wait to go back and share the experience with more friends and family. THANK YOU!"

  • Great secluded getaway

"The stars at night were spectacular! Lock on gate is finicky, but after a few times opening and closing it you get the hang of it :-)"

  • Perfect Location and stay

"Wonderful stay. Renovated home in a perfect location for wine tasting in all three valleys. It is evident the owners have put care and money into making this house a home. We chose this home over others due to the outdoor living space. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and pizza oven. We thorougly enjoyed our time over Thanksgiving week with our adult family. Only disappointment was that we were not greeted upon arrival and shown the property as expected. Also the home was not secure as the key left for us did not fit any door lock, but since back door was unlocked / broken we were able to let ourselves in. The house remained unlocked all week. Mike, the house manager, was very kind and accessible by email or text but had a hand injury so some outdoor cleanup was not done upon our arrival. None of this bothered us as it may some people, but when you are paying that price per night, there is a high expectation of the home being in top notch shape upon arrival and hope the home is secure. (I do believe the area is completely safe). I would still highly recommend this home for a home base for a family to explore wine country!"
