  • Cozy Cabin

"We went here for a few days for our honeymoon and really loved our stay. The owner met us when we checked in, and had the place nice and toasty (it was a little cool and rainy out) and she gave us a quick tour then left us to be. Our favorite by far is the sun room/porch. We sat there each night with wine, and each morning with breakfast. The cabin is just the right size, a cozy living room, very functional kitchen (and she provided coffee which was awesome!) and the bedroom was nice too. The shower is a little narrow but totally functional. The cabin had a really nice rustic feel to it and the location was perfect for us to explore Healdsburg, the Russian River Valley and Dry Creek Valley wineries. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub was not working. That would truly have been the icing on the cake. But we loved our stay and hope to return again sometime."

  • Romantic and Intimate Wedding

"About 50 of us descended upon the Anvil Ranch in the hot summer sun to have my nieces wedding. All of the guests stayed at the inviting ranch for 3days of festivities. Tiffany, the ranch caretaker was amazingly accommodating and facilitated us having an amazing time! The rooms, although they don't afford much privacy, were clean and comfortable. The facilities were well stocked and organized and easy to maneuver through. The kitchen was nice size in the main house . We had caterers stay with us to make our meals and this was nice! The surroundings were beautiful. The area they have to preform the ceremony was possibly one of the most beautiful spots to do this that I have ever seen. There is not much nearby so you bring all you need but for us this was part of the allure. I would definitely come back! We are actually considering it for my sons wedding next year! There were no children at our event, however, it would have been fine if there were. Lots to do for entertainment."

  • Beautiful house in a perfect location!

"Planning a girls trip for women aged 30-70 is no easy task, but when I found this gem of a house online I knew it would be perfect! The house is beautifully decorated, emaculate and extremely comfortable. It was the preferred option to hotel as it had a kitchen (we cooked and hired a chef one night) and a wonderful living room to all spend time together. Being so close to Healdsburg was also great as we were able to quickly get to the center of town to shop and explore. In addition, the owners were extremely accessible and responsive which was a huge plus. My mom is already talking about our next stay!"

  • Gorgeous Wine Country Retreat

"It was exactly what we were looking for...a small retreat for us to refresh and relax in between wine tastings and foodie fun in Healdsburg. This studio gave us everything we wanted...privacy, a chance to disconnect (no tele/no phone), to relax (perfect hot tub for two which was made better by the harvest moon), delicious breakfast and coffee (fresh ground and pour over...the best!), and a very gracious and hospitable host. This gem of a retreat is nestled smack in the middle of vineyards...you are surrounded on all sides...which made wine tasting between Healdsburg and Geyserville convenient and fun (it is always fun to just drive by and say...Hey, that looks interesting!) 15 minutes from some amazing restaurants in Healdsburg and an hour away from Sonoma. Our hosts provided Wi-Fi (so, we weren't completely unplugged! And it was nice since we often were mapping out our trip to various places and the cell coverage in the area is often spotty), anything we needed (such as more coffee!), a hairdryer, several various toiletry items, clean linens (and enough towels for both the shower and hot tub), and privacy. They have very friendly dogs, so I was often greeted in the morning by wagging tails and ears to scratch (no barking in the morning...only when we would pull up in the car. Both are well behaved and just excited to see new people.) Fall was an amazing time to be here...the leaves on the vines were arrayed from red to yellow, the host's fruit trees were laden with gorgeous lemons, oranges (or maybe persimmons), olives, and apples. We fell in love with this area and have decided that we will most definitely be back and hope to stay at this property! We strongly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in the heart of wine country. Some of the restaurants we recommend: Dry Creek Kitchen, Valette's, Bacci Cafe. Vineyards: Moshin, Porter Creek, and Segehsio...there are so many others...these three were the ones we ordered from/joined their club. Salut!"
