  • An Unforgettable Week in Paradise

"Imagine driving along a beautiful road. You turn left along the estate's private vineyard- anticipation building. You round the bend to the front drive and you find yourself breathless as you approach this lovely home. Walking into the beautiful foyer lined both sides with French Doors, you will find yourself looking out at the grounds of the estate. On one end of the foyer is an elegant living room and on the other end is a spectacular great room/grand kitchen that leads to the pool and jacuzzi. You find yourself immersed in wonderful art, a wide variety of books and warmth throughout. The stylish proprietors truly understand hospitality with exceptional touches from luxurious linens to a well-equipped kitchen. This home is not only stunning it is filled with warmth. This is a place for unforgettable memories with family reunions or your closest friends. The owner's make sure of that. Being in the hospitality business, I had the privilege to stay in some of the finest hotels as well as other lovely homes. Without a doubt this was one of the best experiences enhancing an extraordinarily important event for my mom's 90th Birthday and a reunion with family who came from New York and abroad. My favorite memories during this visit- Watching everyone’s reaction when they first arrived. Closing my eyes and listening to my family’s chaos of cooking, laughing, and drinking wine. Having endless cups of coffee on the big dining table overlooking the pool. Walking among trees with olives, figs, apples, pears, and oranges. My 90-year old mom was like a young girl picking fruits and gleefully eating them. Napping on the hammock by the creek and listening to the birds while family was picking wild watercress for our salad at dinner. At the end we tried to console ourselves with the possibility of returning. I am so happy I got to experience a week of sheer joy together with my family in a week we will never forget."

  • Perfect Thanksgiving

"My adult family spent a magical Thanksgiving week at Cecelia's. This idyllic property is located down a private gated lane, among olive trees and vineyards. The large villa is spotless, with every imaginable amenity from a well equipped kitchen to comfortable beds with good quality linens to individual bath soaps and shampoos. It is sufficiently large to allow each guest to have his own space whether it is on the veranda , in the media room or in the library area which is full of books about the vineyards and restaurants. There is also a hot tub and full outdoor kitchen conveniently located within steps of the back door, perfect for outdoor grilling. Located off Healdsburg Avenue, the house is a mere five minutes from Big John's Market, a gourmet grocery essential for picking up last minute items or a sandwich for a picnic. The entire booking process was easy and quick: the property manager is a delight, most helpful and quick to respond to our needs. In summary, we will definitely return to this very special place."

  • Gorgeous Wine Country Retreat

"It was exactly what we were looking for...a small retreat for us to refresh and relax in between wine tastings and foodie fun in Healdsburg. This studio gave us everything we wanted...privacy, a chance to disconnect (no tele/no phone), to relax (perfect hot tub for two which was made better by the harvest moon), delicious breakfast and coffee (fresh ground and pour over...the best!), and a very gracious and hospitable host. This gem of a retreat is nestled smack in the middle of vineyards...you are surrounded on all sides...which made wine tasting between Healdsburg and Geyserville convenient and fun (it is always fun to just drive by and say...Hey, that looks interesting!) 15 minutes from some amazing restaurants in Healdsburg and an hour away from Sonoma. Our hosts provided Wi-Fi (so, we weren't completely unplugged! And it was nice since we often were mapping out our trip to various places and the cell coverage in the area is often spotty), anything we needed (such as more coffee!), a hairdryer, several various toiletry items, clean linens (and enough towels for both the shower and hot tub), and privacy. They have very friendly dogs, so I was often greeted in the morning by wagging tails and ears to scratch (no barking in the morning...only when we would pull up in the car. Both are well behaved and just excited to see new people.) Fall was an amazing time to be here...the leaves on the vines were arrayed from red to yellow, the host's fruit trees were laden with gorgeous lemons, oranges (or maybe persimmons), olives, and apples. We fell in love with this area and have decided that we will most definitely be back and hope to stay at this property! We strongly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in the heart of wine country. Some of the restaurants we recommend: Dry Creek Kitchen, Valette's, Bacci Cafe. Vineyards: Moshin, Porter Creek, and Segehsio...there are so many others...these three were the ones we ordered from/joined their club. Salut!"

  • Cozy, ideal location & all the comforts of home.

"We (my husband & I) stayed four nights in this adorable cottage. Perfect for two....three might be too tight unless it was a small child, in my opinion. The owners couldn't have been more pleasant and very helpful with suggestions re restaurants and local sites. We loved being able to walk into town and not not worry about driving after dinner, after enjoying a bit of wine. The cottage is well equipped and the bed, towels and linens were all very nice. Even the pillows were great! And the bonus of their two adorable dogs who greeted us each day was the icing on the cake. We had such a fabulous time and will def be back!"
