  • Run, Don't Walk for the Opportunity to Stay Here

"This was an absolutely fantastic place!!! There is nothing the owners, Susan and Ron Stockman, have not thought of in terms of comfort and style. We stayed in the apartment on the upper floor and loved every minute of it. The place is spacious, immaculate, beautifully decorated and comes with a plethora of food items such as olive oil, coffee, salt, pepper, condiments etc. to make your stay great. There is a gourmet grocery store, Oliver's, about a mile and a half away that we visited several times for steaks, wine and other gourmet goodies to serve our dinner needs. You are on a working Pinot Noir vineyard so it is very scenic and quiet but only a 10-15 min. drive to Healdsburg which has wonderful shops and great restaurants. The property is also very well located for touring and tasting various area vineyards. There is a Weber Grill for cottages guests use and a large deck with gorgeous views over the vineyard and garden area. Our stay here was at the end of a two week long tour of Northern California and while we enjoyed every other place we stayed, this was truly our favorite. After long days of wine tasting, shopping, etc., this property was a fabulous haven to return to----a home away from home. After being in the travel industry for 37 years, this is one of the most memorable, special places we have stayed. Thanks so much to Susan and Ron for creating this oasis---we will certainly be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for peace, luxurious comfort and relaxation. You won't be sorry if you stay here."

  • Fabulous, Excellently Decorated, Comfortable Cottage with AWESOME Location & Hosts

"Idyllic! Well-stocked, wonderfully (classily) decorated home with incredibly comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and perfectly-placed wrap-around sofa right next to a toasty warm fireplace and kitchen. The views of the vineyards and Sonoma hills in the distance make the heart and soul sing and relax. The host has excellent taste and has decorated the cottage perfectly. Even though our stay was deluged with rain the entire weekend, the cottage was so inviting and cozy that it felt like the perfect weekend for playing hooky and detaching from the regular weekday race. The fireplace was fantastic as are the bathrooms and beds. Add to this that you can walk to the Dry Creek General Store, and what more could one want? Plus, you're located only a handful of miles from downtown Healdsburg and the reams of wonderful restaurants and stores it has to offer. We will definitely come back!"

  • Beautiful and peaceful home away from home!

"My husband and I enjoyed an amazing 5 days here in early May. I fell in love with this small cottage along the river and cannot wait to return. Coffee in the mornings on the deck listening and watching the many birds go by and fish jumping in the river was so peaceful! After a day out and about or laying by the river we wld make a home cooked meal in the cozy kitchen and eat out on the deck under the redwoods. Then a dip in the hottub to sooth our souls and muscles. the house has everything you need to enjoy your stay and Edrene was very easy to work with during the rental process! We couldn't have been happier with our home away from home!! Looking forward to returning again soon! Thank you!"

  • An Unforgettable Week in Paradise

"Imagine driving along a beautiful road. You turn left along the estate's private vineyard- anticipation building. You round the bend to the front drive and you find yourself breathless as you approach this lovely home. Walking into the beautiful foyer lined both sides with French Doors, you will find yourself looking out at the grounds of the estate. On one end of the foyer is an elegant living room and on the other end is a spectacular great room/grand kitchen that leads to the pool and jacuzzi. You find yourself immersed in wonderful art, a wide variety of books and warmth throughout. The stylish proprietors truly understand hospitality with exceptional touches from luxurious linens to a well-equipped kitchen. This home is not only stunning it is filled with warmth. This is a place for unforgettable memories with family reunions or your closest friends. The owner's make sure of that. Being in the hospitality business, I had the privilege to stay in some of the finest hotels as well as other lovely homes. Without a doubt this was one of the best experiences enhancing an extraordinarily important event for my mom's 90th Birthday and a reunion with family who came from New York and abroad. My favorite memories during this visit- Watching everyone’s reaction when they first arrived. Closing my eyes and listening to my family’s chaos of cooking, laughing, and drinking wine. Having endless cups of coffee on the big dining table overlooking the pool. Walking among trees with olives, figs, apples, pears, and oranges. My 90-year old mom was like a young girl picking fruits and gleefully eating them. Napping on the hammock by the creek and listening to the birds while family was picking wild watercress for our salad at dinner. At the end we tried to console ourselves with the possibility of returning. I am so happy I got to experience a week of sheer joy together with my family in a week we will never forget."
