"Aug 27, 2016. For my daughter's wedding, my family from around Washington DC traveled to the wine country for the first time. The house was perfect for us. The common area is very large, huge dining table, beds were comfortable, large kitchen very well stocked, everything well taken care of and VERY clean. Some of my family stayed in the Guest House and found no problem with the short walk outside to the bathroom in main house; the outside walkway is a few feet and covered. But the best thing is the fabulous view of Dry Creek Valley from the large front deck. it was the HIGHLIGHT of our long weekend. The deck is where everyone gathered. We had wonderful weather but didn't use the pool much as it was too cold but we didn't need it. The location is so close to everything and easy to get to (just up the hill from Dry Creek Rd). We all agreed we would definitely return if we could. This is the place to be. Thanks to our hosts and property caretakers. You were great to work with. THANK YOU. **Just a note, I was told the the shower head in hall bath wasn't working too well. I didn't see it so can't give you any more info on it but you might want to check it. But it didn't matter much to my family; many were using the huge Master Bath for showers."

  • Well appointed

"Our group loved staying in the home. Leslie was super helpful with suggestions. Everything you could need was provided. The guys in the group were especially impressed with the high tech toilets and other gadgets. Great experience!"

  • Perfect Location and stay

"Wonderful stay. Renovated home in a perfect location for wine tasting in all three valleys. It is evident the owners have put care and money into making this house a home. We chose this home over others due to the outdoor living space. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and pizza oven. We thorougly enjoyed our time over Thanksgiving week with our adult family. Only disappointment was that we were not greeted upon arrival and shown the property as expected. Also the home was not secure as the key left for us did not fit any door lock, but since back door was unlocked / broken we were able to let ourselves in. The house remained unlocked all week. Mike, the house manager, was very kind and accessible by email or text but had a hand injury so some outdoor cleanup was not done upon our arrival. None of this bothered us as it may some people, but when you are paying that price per night, there is a high expectation of the home being in top notch shape upon arrival and hope the home is secure. (I do believe the area is completely safe). I would still highly recommend this home for a home base for a family to explore wine country!"

  • out of town guest

"I joined in a group celebrating a family gathering, Great space, superb kitchen with beautiful view and fun / practical island where I chilled and enjoyed the very good music bluetooth system. The poll and hot (hot) tub off the great room were very inviting. My room with a view of the vineyard in the guest wing was crisp and comfy while the masters have their own luxury quarters on the opposite side of the house, very cool. And there is ...a whole apt with separate entrance for your family or friends with a need for privacy. Beautiful comfy clean space. I will be back!"
