  • Wonderful!!!

"This house is wonderful! The location is so central and convenient to everything. The house itself is gorgeous; the pictures can't capture just how lovely it is. It's clean, in great condition, updated, has every feature you could want, and feels so comfortable! Great for a group. Communication is great too! Very happy to have found this gem!!"

  • Our favorite place to stay in Aspen

"We are a group of guys from California, New York, Texas, Norway, and Sweden who have our annual reunion once a year in Aspen. We have been doing this every year for 7 years and most of those years we have stayed here. We love it! Especially for a group of people who are all independent and prefer to come and go as we please, this is the perfect location. It's a 10 minute walk to everything in Aspen, including the gondola on Ajax. It's a 2 minute walk from the bus stops to Highlands and Snowmass. The house itself is old school charming, a classic Aspen victorian inside and out. Our favorite features in order of importance: 1. The front porch. This is where we spend most of our time looking straight up onto the runs and chatting with anyone that walks by. Often locals walking by will join us for an hour or two. We'll pull out a chair for them and offer them a cold one. 2. The hot tub. Every morning before breakfast and every late afternoon after skiing this is where we soak and get relaxed and ready for our next adventure. 3. The fire place. Nothing like a big fireplace in a small living room. Late in the evening when everyone is back we're all gathered around it telling tall tales. 4. The Sonos. Music is absolute key to setting the mood and all of us have Sonos at home so it works out perfectly, except when battles start over who's controlling the music. Big thanks to the owners who are always warm, friendly, accommodating, and all-round great hosts!"

  • Quiet, comfortable, close to town

"Unit J201 at the Gant is nicely located just a short walk from the center of Aspen. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed a peaceful two-night stay even with multiple events going on in town. The unit is nicely positioned on the 2nd floor of a building, on an outside corner near the pool area. As far as accessibility from the parking areas, it is neither overly convenient nor difficult. The living space is cozy and the furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is small, but functional, with updated appliances. The only real negatives we experienced were: lack of parking (twice we were left to find parking on the street, off-site a few blocks away, although the Gant staff will "valet" your car; i.e. they go and find a spot on the street for you). We expected more than two rolls of toilet paper and maybe some paper towels or napkins to be in the kitchen. The comode/shower rooms were dated and the shower head was mounted at about 5'. Pros: Close to town/Quiet/comfortable furniture & beds/very helpful on-site staff/shuttle to town Cons: Parking is not guaranteed, not as stocked with basics as I'd hoped, dated comode/showers. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this unit to others."
