  • Rustic, Luxury in the Woods

"I rented this home for the celebration of my 40th birthday in August. The rental was a perfect experience and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. The interior of the house is well appointed in the lodge fashion with knotty pine everywhere, a grand antler chandelier and rustic log furniture. It is owned and operated by nice people, who were both accommodating and hospitable. The home is located on a quiet cul de sac, just beyond the Peak 8 base - close to town and the resort, but far enough away to give the sense of peace and quiet. We enjoyed the private spa on the deck outside the kitchen on cool, starry nights. Nearly every morning, there were moose in the yard - immediately outside the window. It was a fantastic experience that one doesn't get in the high-rise condos down in town. The bedrooms are nicely spread out. With six in our party (four adults, two kids), there was plenty of room. In summary, this is an excellent property with soul. I'd recommend it highly and hope to stay here again in the future."

  • Great location to slopes and very clean!

"We had a family of 5 stay at condo #317 over Presidents' Day weekend. Let me begin by saying the check in was so easy and detailed perfectly in an email, which was great for a late night arrival. The parking was covered and there was easy access to both the condos and the ski lockers. The condo was so clean, and I'm a neat freak, so that was great. It was very dated though in terms of decor and furniture. As long as you can get past the 70s decor, it's very cozy and roomy for a family. The kitchen was well stocked, but it would be nice if they had more pans, or better yet, an electric griddle for making mounds of pancakes in the morning. It just takes too long on the stove with meat cooking. Otherwise, all appliances worked well and the staples like trash bags, dishwasher detergent, tin foil, salt and pepper were there. The two bathrooms were very clean and simple. The beds do require some upgrading when it comes to the mattresses. I can get passed the 70's decor, but hard beds after a long day of skiing is problematic. Even the kids complained that the beds were too hard. Oddly, they had great comfy pillows, so that was certainly nice. It's convenient to the slopes, but quite far from downtown. I wouldn't recommend if you didn't have a car or wanted to walk to town."

  • Great set up for our family. Resort is great and room(s) were very clean and fully furnished

"Great experience. Only thing that would have improved our experience would have been a better view from this unit. We were looking out at the forest rather than having a view of the mountain or downtown Breckenridge. Everything else was great and we would definitely rent this unit again. Unit had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of space for the six of us on the trip."
