  • Beautiful well appointed condo with great views of Breck"s surrounding peaks.

"We stayed at This Crystal Peak Lodge property for 9 days. It was a wonderful location to retreat from Alabama heat. Just opening the windows brought plenty of cool air, and a great view of the mountains. The condo was well appointed with high quality appliances, cookware, and cooking utensils. The kitchen was also well stocked with spices and extras that saved money and trips to the grocery. More extras included beautiful granite countertops, a hair drier, magnified, lighted makeup mirror, lots of towels and comfortable beds. Crystal Peak Lodge had a great steam room, good exercise equipment, and outdoor whirlpools. It also had a shuttle that would take you to town with only a few minutes notice. There was a business center with computer and printer. The elevators were fast, and the underground parking was heated, safe and secure. Though Breckenridge felt quite touristy, the food and drinks were great. We particularly liked The Blue Stag Saloon. There are so many active outdoor activities available, that you could stay for months and never take the same hike or bike ride, and the views from every angle are hard to beat. The only drawback to staying at this condo is the altitude. At 10,000ft., it is high. If you are coming from a low altitude, it is imperative to hydrate, eat carbs, remain mostly sedentary and totally sober for a couple days until you have adjusted. I highly recommend this condo if you are looking for a comfortable, well appointed place in a beautiful area."

  • Good impression

"Andy & Brenda were a pleasure to work with and very efficient. All the information they sent before we left home was so awesome. It gave great directions to everything. Location of the unit couldn't have been better. Views were spectacular. Really nice to have a fireplace that was on a timer - great idea!. Thank you!"

  • Awesome ski in/out location!

"This condo was great for our group of 6 adults - squeaky clean, super comfortable and had everything we needed. Because the ski in/out is so convenient, we were all back and forth to the condo 2-3 times a day - to warm up, eat, etc and back on the slopes with ease. Love the large kitchen table and comfortable living room with fireplace and tv. The bedrooms were large and comfortable with TVs in each room as well. The lodge at the base of Peak 8 is a great resource for this condo, having a nice restaurant/bar if you want to eat out and take a short walk to your destination. We loved our stay here."

  • Great location to slopes and very clean!

"We had a family of 5 stay at condo #317 over Presidents' Day weekend. Let me begin by saying the check in was so easy and detailed perfectly in an email, which was great for a late night arrival. The parking was covered and there was easy access to both the condos and the ski lockers. The condo was so clean, and I'm a neat freak, so that was great. It was very dated though in terms of decor and furniture. As long as you can get past the 70s decor, it's very cozy and roomy for a family. The kitchen was well stocked, but it would be nice if they had more pans, or better yet, an electric griddle for making mounds of pancakes in the morning. It just takes too long on the stove with meat cooking. Otherwise, all appliances worked well and the staples like trash bags, dishwasher detergent, tin foil, salt and pepper were there. The two bathrooms were very clean and simple. The beds do require some upgrading when it comes to the mattresses. I can get passed the 70's decor, but hard beds after a long day of skiing is problematic. Even the kids complained that the beds were too hard. Oddly, they had great comfy pillows, so that was certainly nice. It's convenient to the slopes, but quite far from downtown. I wouldn't recommend if you didn't have a car or wanted to walk to town."
