  • Perfect!

"We went on a friends trip to Vail and this house was perfect for us! I've been vacationing in Vail for 30 years and stayed in many places. This house was clean and well maintained and we would definitely stay here again. The location was great, just a few minutes from the mountain. The high ceilings make the place feel very spacious and we loved the wrap around deck and outdoor speakers to listen to while in the hot tub after a long ski day. The master suite is enormous and I slept like a rock in the temperpedic queen bed downstairs which also had its own door to the hot tub. The owner was very easy to work with and very accommodating. She also gave us a heads up to watch our flights because it was snowing the day we left. Overall this place was amazing!"

  • Great stay in West Vail

"We had a nice stay at Doug's condo. The kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub was especially nice after hiking. Plenty of towels etc. There is some noise from the freeway when the windows are open but since the Vail valley is narrow I suspect many houses and condos have the same issue. Condo was clean and comfortable."

  • You will love the location!

"West Vail is a great part of the Vail Valley. It receives lots of sunlight, and is a wonderful place to be located to take part of all that Vail has to offer. If you have looked at the pictures of this home, you will know it has a unique layout. This is its greatest asset, in that it has a wide range of nooks and crannies, with a bohemian flare. Relax in the Grecian inspired loggia before you take a sauna, or dip into the jacuzzi. Play some ping-pong after dinner! There are some terrific views of the mountains from the sunlit cupola room, a favorite of ours to enjoy our morning coffee and watch the sun rise to the east. These same mountains radiate with the evening 'alpine glow', something not to be missed! There are two gas-lit fireplaces that add extra warmth to those cold winter nights. Rent this property for its unique character and great location (grocery stores and restaurants at bottom of hill). Do not have more than the allotted two cars, you will get a ticket if you park in the street, even for a brief period of time. If you are skiers, we park for free at the Bear lot in Beaver Creek and take their free bus to the lift."

  • Great week with clients

"We've stayed here for 2 of the past 3 years with clients. Great for getting together with friends and clients. Large living room/kitchen/Dining room lets everyone share one space. The house is in great shape and beautifully kept up. Cascade location is surprisingl;y ideal over other locations in Lions Head and the village. Its a 3-5 minute walk to the lift and you can leave all your gear at Charter Sports which is 10' from the lift itself. The owner, Mallory, is a pleasure to deal with and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is well taken care of during the trip."
