  • Wonderful Views & Location

"Location - Views - Location This home offers wonderful views, a great location, and very comfortable floor plan. Just a few blocks walking distance to town & restaurants. Take in the charm of Old Florida that Cedar Key offers. Water views straight out to the original Cedar Key settlement (Atsena Island) as well as long projection out to Seahorse Key. The home offers an ideal private floor plan with three separate bedroom en suites. Kitchen is fine for cooking but be sure to bring your food perishables and amenities since there aren't the usual super markets close by. However there are a few markets to purchase fresh fish, oysters, clams and scallops. Yum-Yum! The area is great for Kayaking, fishing and cycling around the peaceful island. If you want to see Old Florida as it was, and just chillax, then visit Cedar Key. Ease of booking. Enjoy!"

  • Nice location! Don't plan visit during end of July and August, too many businesses closed.

"Really nice rental, easy to be in and relax. We were able to walk to town and back for a lil nap...when we return in cooler weather, we look forward to a meal or relaxing on the screened porch. Only drawback to our stay had nothing to do with the house, but it was the off-season, which we didn't know, if we had, we would have postponed our stay. We drove 8 hours and there were, at least, 4 to 5 restaurants/attractions we had on our list, which were closed for break....We are from Louisiana, where the thermometer hits 90s all summer, as well, and few to none of our establishments close down for a Summer break...(nice for business owners, but not so much for visitors who aren't aware.)...We will definitely return to Cedar Key... Friendly people and good clam chowder! Felt 2 nights was too much, this time of year, though."

  • Fantastic

"The condo was sparkling clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. The view and sunsets were amazing!! The little town of Cedar Key was so friendly. The Pizza place was really good. We loved the coffee shop on the corner Daily Grind and the gift shop next door. Both we annexed in the old general store....Darling!!! We also loved the art coop. Walking to Annie's for breakfast, the donut lady and Kona Joes was great. A great getaway to old Florida....quiet and unassuming and they want to keep it that way. Highly recommended!"

  • Fantastic property

"Our family spent 3 nights here in late July and had a wonderful time. We've rented several homes there and this is one of the best. It's very spacious, we had room to spread out and its quiet. It's not a new home and that's a plus, actually. There are balconies for anyone who wants one and the views are wonderful. I had a great conversation over the phone with the owner and he made everything simple with no fuss. He's a pro and it shows. Contact him and have a fine stay. CK is busy and hot as hell in July but go enjoy this house!."
