  • Fantastic Home and Owner - We will be back

"This was our family's first trip to the Gulf Coast and I'm not sure if I'm more excited about the beach or the home - okay, that's not true. Definitely the home! This is a townhouse that doesn't FEEL like a townhouse. We have rented many, many homes in the southeast and by far, this one has been the most well-appointed. EVERYTHING was top of the line - it gave me ideas for decorating my own home and made me want to check out the owner's other places down the street. Stove and fridge - awesome. She even had seasonings! If you rent a lot of vacation homes you know that having a spice rack is a huge plus. She has games and every kitchen utensil and appliance you can think of - even a hot dog bun toaster!!! What??!? I didn't even know they had those. I LOVED the kitchen and I usually dread cooking on vacation because who wants to do that? But the kitchen made me want to cook! Grocery store was just a couple of miles away. Like literally less than 2. That's important stuff there! The proximity to the beach was great with good views from the top floor living room. It only took us 3 minutes to walk to the beach at a leisurely pace and we had the option of driving my grandmother (limited mobility) right to the beach entrance, and she was happy with the views from the home. Also the elevator was great - not slow compared to some in houses we've rented and we never had any problems with it. I love my family but this house was great for giving the 4 generations plenty of space. You could really never be disturbed if you wanted it that way. The bathrooms were awesome - the only thing needed are more places to hang your towels in a couple of them. Cable was good. Internet worked great & we were streaming movies on several devices. We never ever a problem with hot water or AC. The washer and dryer have been added to my wish list for my own home. She even supplied some detergent - I mean it's the little things that add up to make your stay extra comfortable. Plastic wine glasses for the pool area and beach. Useful labels everywhere! Dolls in the kids room with a few puzzles. Soft towels! You can tell the owner really cares and that shines through not only in the home but in every communication I had with her from the initial inquiry down to restaurant recommendations while we were there. The owner is very patient & I can be a bit...ummm...shall we say, bothersome with my questions - she was never put off. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! Thank you!"

  • Believe the Reviews!

"We just came back from a week in Ross's amazing house. One of the criteria I have for a five-star review is the memories we come back with; and my that standard, this place is off the charts. It is very well-appointed and offers multi-family guests the opportunity for intimate gatherings but also privacy for downtime. The kitchen is spectacular and comfortable for many cooks to prepare several dishes at the same time. High end appliances such as a Viking stove and Dacor microwave spoke to the tastefulness of the house. We loved being able to fit 15 people around the massive table-- something I really appreciate and value. The two dishwashers came in very handy for cleanup. The french doors from the kitchen lead to a beautiful porch with comfortable seating. Early risers could sip on coffee while being serenaded by the ocean. Perfection. The location is fabulous. Close enough to walk to Rosemary Beach for food and treats, but quiet enough to be away from the crowds. A Publix is a few miles away for last minute grocery needs. The beds were all comfortable as were the quality linens. Ample space in the three king-size bedrooms made the adults very happy. The bunk room made a lot of cousins very very happy. By far, the heated pool area is one of the best we've seen on 30a. Completely private and surrounded by lush vegetation, the lighting at night adds to the serenity. The grill and prep area is a nice touch even though we did not have an opportunity to use those features. Most of all, Ross is a consummate host-- responsive and gracious. Christmas 2015 will live in our hearts for a long time, much thanks to Sea Zen! Thank you, Ross!"

  • Amazing Experience!! Best Vacation House

"We vacationed at this house this past week and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The pictures do not do the house justice at all. It is a beautiful home and comes with many extras that were a wonderful surprise. I have already contacted the owner to book the house for the same week next year. We will be vacationing here every summer from now on. One of the owners also came out and setup 6 chairs and 3 umbrellas each morning which was wonderful. A bike ride away from Rosemary Beach area as well which was fantastic. You can't go wrong with this house for vacation"

  • Beautiful comfortable home

"We come to Inlet Beach yearly as a family & decided to introduce our favorite beach to friends this year so we shared this home with another family. It was just enough room for 2 couples with it's two master bedrooms. The little kids of our friends slept on the floor in their bedroom, and our 4 children slept in the extra bedroom upstairs (2 double beds and a trundle bed). Pros: *The decks on this house were one of the best things about it! Huge wrap-around porch with comfortable patio furniture on the main floor, and another deck on the top floor with great views of the stars. One of the best nights was hanging on the top floor deck listening to music and watching shooting stars. *The firepit - although we only used it once, it's a nice feature. Fun to dig your toes in the sand and feel those ocean breezes. *The outdoor shower - crowd favorite! *The kitchen- well-supplied with enough seating for a crowd (six around the bar, 6 at the table, 6 on the porch table outside) with room to move around. 3 adults working in the kitchen to prep dinner or the day's catch was not too crowded. *Fullsize washer and dryer made drying off those wet beach towels a snap. *Included beach supplies - seriously, don't even bring sand toys. The storage box on the deck is FULL of sand toys, body boards (I think there were 4?), nets, plastic boats. I can't even remember what all was in there but when I opened it I remember wishing I hadnt wasted room in the car bringing our sand toys. *Covered parking for the cars *The privacy & low crowds at Inlet Beach are always our favorite. This year was no exception. Cons: *Many of our bath towels smelled terribly of cigarette smoke when we arrived. A quick fix in the washer, but still gross when you're toweling off after a shower & just realizing it *We were told that there was a crockpot & beach cart at the house for our use & neither were there upon our arrival. Annoying because we had to change our dinner plans and hauling 6 kids beach stuff with no cart is a pain, but on the pro side, the management company went out and purchased both & brought it over so on the plus side -great customer service! * The beach is only visible (barely) from the top deck of the house. We knew it wasn't beach front property, but it was a bit farther than we thought & the steps (I think one of the kids counted 62) leading to it was a hot and sweaty affair in July heat. Overall, a great stay in a beautiful home. Highly recommend."
