  • Beautiful Beach House

"Would definitely stay at Bella Beach again, but there is room for improvement. The things that I liked the most were: Beautiful decor...the hardwood floors were much nicer than typical beach house tile. Bella is a 2 story, single dwelling unit, unlike many of the other Frangista Beach houses along the row. Most are 3 story, "duplex" style buildings. Bella Beach feels open and roomy, instead of "stacked". There are two large Master Bedrooms with VERY comfortable King beds, large baths, large closets, and sliding doors to balcony overlooking the gulf. Great view when you wake up! There is a bedroom on the main level for anyone who has a hard time with stairs. Large kitchen, large dining table, large laundry room. The beach along the front of the Frangista homes is not nearly as crowded as it is in front of the large condos and public access areas. We were met at check-in by a rep from the management company to go over everything. There are a couple of things that need improvement, as is the case with anywhere you stay. The TV in one of the bedrooms did not work. Reported immediately, but took a couple of days and repeat phone calls to get somebody to look at it, and turned out the cable wasn't really connected so it was not fixed during our stay. The light in one of the master showers did not work, and was never fixed during our stay despite 2 requests. The sliding door from the main living area to the balcony is extremely difficult to open and close...tracks are full of gunk and cleaned out good. The extra ice maker was a big selling point for us, but did not work for the first 3 or 4 days. It was somewhat fixed after repeated calls, and two different repairmen. The house was not ready at crew said they needed another 1/2 hour. By all practical purposes the house was clean...bathrooms, kitchen, etc....but it really needed a more thorough cleaning. The ceiling fans were dirty, and there was a lot of dust/dirt under and behind the furniture. These are things that don't need to be done each week, but definitely hadn't been done in awhile. The floor appeared clean, but the dirt on our socks and feet after walking around (on the first day) said otherwise, so they need to be mopped better. The grout in the showers also needs a good cleaning. All in all, I would still recommend it, and with some extra cleaning and maintenance, Bella Beach would be perfect!!!"

  • Everything we hoped it would be.

"The home was well maintained and the inside was decorated so cute. We enjoyed having the community pool in our backyard and the beach so close by. There was a coffee shop, store and eating places within walking distance. Barbara was very helpful when we had questions. We enjoyed our week very much and hope to go back. We highly recommend this precious cottage."
