  • Relaxed, beautiful views, family friendly!

"This was our second summer at A Tropical Bay and we were impressed with a number of upgrades to their amenities. The owners clearly want their guests to be able to relax and enjoy the island. Location - close enough to everything on the island - you can walk, bike or golf cart anywhere within minutes. Property - Home is better than described - balconies everywhere and they added a sandy area great for beach games or just relaxing. Fishing from the dock is fun for everyone and they have a fish cleaning station as well. Everything was clean and they even had cleaning supplies on hand. Customer Service - Owner was readily available to answer questions and addresses any concerns right away without hesitation. Recommended for - Families or couples, even two - three families using the nice bunk room for 4 children. Even includes a crib and baby gate for the little ones. To do - Be sure to go out to the Gulf to see the sunrise at least once, take a bike ride to the east end of the island, eat pizza at BJ's Pizza at least once and go to happy hour at Paddy's and the Blue Parrot. Plan to watch the sunset from the dock at the house every night - it is a different amazing show every time! Most of all, relax, take a nap, enjoy old Florida at it's very best! Tips - Depending on the time of the year, be sure and be prepared for potential mosquitos and take precautions. Keep a cooler full of water and drinks on the ground floor to be able to enjoy the pool and beach without going up to the kitchen as often."

  • What an incredible way to end our summer vacation!

"The accommodations are top notch. As anyone traveling with a family knows, it’s not only about ample sleeping arrangements, but also bathroom & living spaces. And that sets this location apart. Additionally, being steps from the water made this a quintessential beach vacation destination. Swimming, biking, fishing, eating… we ran out of time before we ran out of things to do. We’d love to travel here again."

  • Nice place.

"Nice place. Appeared that no one had been there in sometime. The bathtubs and toilet had hard-water stains from non use/cleaning. Couch and area rug needs cleaned. I give it 4 seashells out of 5."

  • Breathe Easy was a Breath of Fresh Air

"We truly enjoyed staying at Breathe Easy. The owners were very responsive when we were in the selection process and provided great information for us before and when we arrived. The house is well-maintained - even the pool! The entire space is very clean and the downstairs is great for at least a family of 4. We slept upstairs while a friends of ours who have young kids slept downstairs. It was perfect. The house is steps from the beach which is wonderful. The beach is very quiet and the night sky is unbelievable; being on the island, there's very little ambient light. St. George and Apalachacola are very quiet. It's the perfect place to slow down and simply enjoy spending time on the beach, walking, playing games, etc. There are a few decent restaurants where we ate on St. George and in Apalachocola. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at Breathe Easy."
