"First let me say that we really enjoyed our stay in this condo! It was very neat and clean and comfortable. The photos provided are a very accurate representation. Nicely decorated and very kid friendly. We loved all the resort amenities ... easy access to the beach, great variety of pools, fitness room, arcade. Our kids (ages 8 and 4) especially loved the lazy river and the heated pool. I personally was a huge fan of the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella and would have been happy to stay there all day long!! The master bed was very, very comfortable. My husband and I have trouble agreeing on the firmness/softness of a mattress, but we both slept super well on this bed. Made it even harder to go home!
I do feel like there are a few things potential visitors should know.
1. The master bedroom of the condo is located on the back side ... farthest from the beach without access to the balcony. We were not aware of that and so were slightly disappointed. That meant that once we put the kids to bed in the bunks, we were not able to go out and sit on the balcony like we had hoped. Being able to sit out on the balcony in the evening was important to me and I'm not sure we would have rented the condo had we known about the layout. The condo is also very close to the elevator, which made us nervous at first. We were afraid it would be noisy, but that turned out not to be a big issue. We only heard people a few times.
2. I have a weird thing about carpet ... typically wearing socks in hotel rooms. The carpet in this condo was very clean but felt old and a bit uncomfortable. Would have been awesome to have the whole thing tiled.
3. A previous review mentioned a leak in the roof above the shower coming from the condo above. The owner replied that it had been fixed. However, we noticed black mold growing above the shower ... probably a result of that previous leak that needs to be repaired.
All of those things considered, we would definitely recommend this condo and this resort to others."
