  • Slice of Heaven

"My husband and I enjoyed our week vacation on Cherry Log Mountain! Serene Sunrise was absolutely perfect! The house was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities of home. The view was absolutely beautiful! The cabin was centrally located to numerous attractions in Northwest, Ga. We enjoyed day hiking along the Appalachian trail (Long Creek Falls to the summit of Springer Mountain). We loved Amicalola Falls State Park (enjoyed the hike up to the top of the Falls as well as the hike to the Len Foote Hike Inn). We enjoyed the town of Blue Ridge (shops, brewery, as well as the sweet shop where Bill's sister Susan sells the best cupcakes!). Mercier Orchards was also a real treat (great bakery and hard cider). Brasstown Bald, Helen, and "Shooting the Hooch" was great! But the best part of our trip was sitting on the porch of Bill's cabin with a cup of coffee and enjoying the views! Bill was extremely helpful from the time of booking through the length of our stay. You will not be disappointed if you rent Serene Sunrise! It is a great value compared to any other cabins in the area! Bill, thank you for sharing your cabin with us!!!!! We hope to be back again soon!"

  • We will be back!

"Had a great time! Did some hiking, horseback riding and went to Long Creek Falls...Highly recommend the falls. Easy 30 minute hike in and 30 minutes out. Make sure you see the beautiful large creek on the opposite side of the gravel road where you park (at the falls). Cabin was very comfortable and well equipped for our party of 7, though we didn't spend a lot of time there! Many things to do in the area. Joe's barbecue was excellent - right there in downtown Blue Ridge. We will be back!"

  • It's like staying at your very own Camp!

"Overall a very nice cabin. The pictures and description are very accurate. Hot tub was clean and operated well. Kitchen has everything you need, and the grill outside worked fine. That being said, I wouldn't stay here if you're expecting a luxurious cabin with fine linens and a suede couch. (It's not a Sandels resort) This cabin is very basic, and is rough around the edges. It needs little repairs here and there but, for people like us none of this was an issue. When we rent a cabin we look for a nice hot tub, a clean cabin, well stocked kitchen, and a comfortable clean bed to sleep in. **This cabin had all of that.** We enjoyed our stay and will most likely rent this specific cabin again if its available. Only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the light bulb in sauna was blown and the rec cabin is a bit rough. (Pool table was wobbly, and there are some specific instructions about leaving the heat alone in the rec cabin which is fine but, it was 100 degrees in there!)"

  • Another Fabulous Vacation!

"This was our third stay, and as the saying goes, third is a charm -- we caught our best trout -- 2 five pounders and a few smaller -- ate like kings! We love Fisherman's and are truly sad that it is coming out of the rental program -- where will we find a new place comparable with the location, amenities, TERRIFIC OWNERS, ... it'll be a tall order. We are so grateful we were able to stay at Fisherman's and make cherished memories that will be with us forever. Thank you Charlotte and Jerry -- we are so honored to have crossed paths with you."
