  • Great place

"We had a great time at this unit. We stayed in another one last year and we enjoyed this one more. The backyard has an amazing view of the golf course and was very private, which was nice for our 2 little ones to play outside. The company was great to work with and we hope to stay in this unit next year! Thank you for a great vacation!"

  • Loved it all. Peaceful and relaxing vacation.

"This was our first stay in the Mauna Lani area. We stayed in G201 from 3/20-3/26 and loved every minute of it. My DH even said upon entering “If I had known the place was so nice, we could’ve stayed here the whole time.” (Before arriving here, we stayed in Volcano for 3 nights.) I will say I wanted to stay closer to the water but the view from the lanai was great. We could see the ocean and sometimes hear the waves. The only issue I had was that sounds from the lanais seemed to echo off the other buildings. This is a low density complex which never ever seemed crowded. Several times we felt we had the place to ourselves. This unit was huge for a one bedroom. Nice big kitchen, roomy living area and 2 full bathrooms. The couch makes into a bed, although we didn’t use it. I was thinking we could bring along one of our nieces next time and they could have the couch and their own bathroom. The bed was comfy and waking up to seeing palm trees outside was always a treat. We did have an issue with ants in the kitchen. When I called about them, we were brought ant traps. These seemed to work well, but we would still occasionally see ants here and there. No big deal to us. We kept all food in the fridge. Lots of towels available, but only one real beach towel. You know the kind of long and colorful towels you take to the beach. We discovered later that bigger “beach towels” were in the unit, but they were white. This is one thing I think they could improve upon. We did like having a washer and dryer in the unit and used it a few times. There was laundry detergent already there and available. The terraces are a quick walk to Makaiwa Bay and the beach. They have cabanas and loungers for use. The snorkeling here is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Lots and lots of fish in very clear water once you are about 25 yards from the beach. Snorkel early in the day for the best conditions. We went one afternoon and the water was a little choppy. The adjacent fish ponds make for a nice relaxing walk around the area. It’s also a nice walk over to the Mauna Lani Hotel for drinks and dinner. The pool and BBQ area were rarely busy. I went to the pool 3 times and had it all to myself. BBQs you can reserve time at or they have a grill and go BBQ if you don’t want to eat there. There’s a Foodland grocery store about a mile away. They have a nice deli and fresh food selections if you don’t want to cook. What I was missing was an ABC store, but it’s about"

  • Lovely stay at Mauna Lani Terrace

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 7 nights in this very comfortable condo with a drop-dead view of the evening sunset from our lanai. The furnishings were lovely, the bed extremely comfortable, and the kitchen very well-stocked with spices, pot and pans, and utensils. Another added feature was the community pool and a pass to enter the private beach club. My only criticism is not with the condo but with the location, which was fairly isolated. There were good restaurants within walking distance. they were very pricey; the grocery store though offered many possibilities for take-out."

  • Relaxing view

"We have stayed a number of times at townhouses in Mauna Lani and this one had the nicest views from either the main floor or upper lanai. The location was a bit of a walk to the Shops (a must for happy hours) but the beach club was closer than from other locations and we enjoyed walking kings trail or the fisherman's trail (fantastic views) to Waikoloa. The unit was well equipped and had everything one needed. It was only my wife and I but with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths you could easily have a large family or several couples share the place. We had a car and spent much of our time golfing at various courses (14 rounds at 7 different courses) with a great variety of styles. The beach club is nice but more crowded so you can always walk to the black sands beach next door (or drive if you are early enough, or late enough, that there is room to park) - just go to the security gate and ask for shore access. Lots of great beaches to explore all over the area if you are willing to drive and go for a bit of a hike."
