"I have just returned from my third visit to Maui and Margie's amazing Condo that has now become one of my permanent vacation getaways. Let me try to paint a picture for all of you considering where to stay in Maui. Maui has many places to stay around the island with popular areas of Lahaina to the West and Wailea to the South. Kihei is a less touristy area on the southern middle part Maui between these two location offering excellent access to both as well as a perfect starting point to the popular West Maui Highway, Road to Hana, and Haleakala. Kihei has great dining at countless restaurants and amazing uncrowded beach access. While Maui is almost always sunny, Kihei is the sunniest place on the island, even when its cloudy or raining everywhere else Kihei seems to have its own sunny weather system. After arriving at the airport you take a short 20-30 minute drive to the Condo. The condo is located on the Northern edge of Kihei right on the beach. It the second story, beach side on the corner giving it 270 degree views of the ocean and mountains with two lanais to enjoy them. As I'm sure you can tell from the pictures the condo has everything you could possibly need from bathroom supplies, condiments, and countless beach toys (saving lots of time and money). The place has always been extremely clean (I'm very critical of this) and has a very homey welcoming feel about it. During the day I love reading around the pool/jacuzzi, playing giant shuffle board, volleyball, walking the beach, snorkeling or even brushing up on my golf game on the putting green. Evenings are my favorite between the same day activities or watching the sunset, running around playing with the countless giant toads or just stargazing on the almost empty beach. This is my first time writing a review for pretty much anything but I could go on forever about how much I love this location and condo but I'll spare you. I wanted to write a raving review after the first trip but didn't quite know how to do it justice in words. All I can say is you won't be disappointed, and you'll be back. Don't waste your money on an overcrowded, expensive hotel."

  • Was Perfect For Us!

"My two tween boys and I stayed in this condo over the Christmas/New Year holiday, and absolutely loved it! The condo was immaculate, tastefully decorated (we particularly liked the owner's photos of Maui); and the location was perfect! We like to get up each morning, pack a cooler and explore, swim, surf, etc, and this condo was centrally-situated so we could conveniently access access major roadways in every direction, plus it was close enough to Kihei for a run for morning java, yet far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. At night, we loved our view of the marina from the back deck, with lights sparkling on the ocean between palm trees.(the lights make all the difference after the sun goes down!) However, we most enjoyed the view of Mt. Haleakala from the front porch! Spectacular to see the mountain's observatory lit up against a sea of stars! And... we had an amazing New Year's Eve fireworks show from the neighborhood behind the condo complex, with a panoramic view of fireworks exploding in the sky around the island!! In the mornings, we opened the east-facing front door to let the sunshine flood the condo (not a common feature of many condos on the island!) At night, the boys enjoyed swimming in the pool and frog hunting in the grassy area between the condo and the ocean!! (just so you know..frogs like to pee on boys...) Lastly, I want to say thank you to the owners for thoughtfully providing snorkels, lawn chairs, boogie boards and even a cooler for guests to borrow. They truly thought of everything!"

  • It was a great location and the price was very reasonable!

"I would stay again! It had security on site 24/7 although I considered it a safe location. The access to pool, beach and stores was perfect. I especially enjoyed the onsite grills!"

  • Fabulous Place!

"This condo was perfect! Amazing views, walk to the little beach, so close to food and shops, (without feeling "city like"), the pool was a big hit as well. Stocked with beach chairs, unbrella, boogie board, and sand toys. Big plus! As far as in the condo, there was everything we needed to cook, sleep, and hangout. Did not use it all, but really there is bedding for 5 people. King bed, twin rollaway bed, and a pull out couch bed. Overall a great place! We would highly recommend this place!"
