  • Great location!!! We liked being in this unit and will likely book it again, it was that nice.

    "We got in late due to a delayed flight, and so first impressions were tainted, and we were tired. Once the next day began we were delighted to find a koi pond directly out in front of the unit. They shut off the waterfall while your sleeping, a nice touch. Sitting outside everyday was very pleasant and being close to the walk allowed for socializing with the neighbors, I'm a bit chatty. The BBQ'S were steps away and they clean them daily. All around a great place to stay!"

  • Nice Place - but . . .

    "The room was very nice and the view breathtaking. We spent our time looking out to the ocean and listening to the waves when we were there. The bed was comfortable, and the living room furniture was welcoming and a great place to unwind from the activities of the day. The unit was just as shown, and had some great reviews. It was truly in the best location to everything on the island. We found that most of the needs could be met with the exception of bbq tools. The room as clean, but you could see that it has been used as there were some items needing attention (handle on dresser, grout in shower, screen door, and below). Now for the reasons we could not give it 5 stars. On our second night, we found that the oven was not working. We had gotten some meals so that we did not have to go out each nigh, so this was a problem. When we contacted the Condo property manager, we were told it would be checked on. Two days later, no word. When we called, there was no reason for the delay and they promised to get it as soon as possible. When we got back the following afternoon, there was a note stating that parts were on order. We eventually spoke with the management company and they offered to move us to another unit. They eventually allowed us to us to use the oven in another unit. We would definitely stay here again, however."

  • Great location

    "The condo is about as close to the beach as you can get on Maui. It's small but clean and well equipped. Sugar Beach is excellent. The location right in the middle of Wailea/ Kihei and Lahaina/Maleah Harbor is perfect. The pool area is nice but there is no gym. Was not crowded in mid-January. Both the owner and Ali property manager were helpful. Biggest issue we had was being charged the whole amount at booking 3 months in advance in Euros via some Ireland entity, which resulted in about $200 in exchange fees. VRBO said some owners bill through low tax Ireland, but the owner said that is not the case here. But it happened. Have booked via VRBO many times and never saw a foreign charge. Was able to get my credit card company to drop the $200 fee this once, but it was very annoying. After that episode, it was all good!!!"
