  • Wavecrest Condo 214A

"This condo was well equipped and furnished and sits right at the water's edge. It was clean and well stocked with kitchen staples (salt, pepper, etc) and paper products. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The "recent updates" in the description are now 10 years old, so the linens are a little tired, but certainly serviceable, and there are plenty of them, including beach towels. The bedroom carpet needs an update, and grout in the kitchen tiles needs repair--but these were definitely minor details. We loved the beach chairs and coolers provided. We loved enjoying the views of three other islands from the lanai, as well as the breeze from the palms and the waves lapping at the shore. The pool and cabana area are relaxing. We loved our first visit to Molokai--we'll be back, and would definitely book 214A again."

  • Wonderful Condo with an amazing view

"We enjoyed a one week stay at Amanda's condo. She was wonderful in every way by providing helpful information on the condo and Molokai in general before our stay. Afterwards, we had a couple of questions which she immediately assisted us with. She is prompt in her response and extremely helpful with anything that may come up. The condo is furnished very nicely and has all the appliances and kitchen items one might need. The best part however it the view. You can hear the surf all the time. The islands of Maui and Lanai are always visible and the morning sunrise over Maui is spectacular. We set our alarms in the morning just so we wouldn't miss it. We were there in December so the humpback whales had not made their appearance but from what I heard from other tenants was the show put on by the whales during their season of Jan-April is nothing short of spectacular. And you would be able to easily see it from the balcony of the condo. I can't recommend this condo enough. Only one thing wrong with our stay and that was we were only there for 1 week. Next time since we are retired, we are considering on returning for 3-4 weeks. Problem is that Amanda's condo is booked for the time we want next year. My advice is that if you can find a time that she has it available, go for it. You won't regret it. I haven't said much about Molokai but suffice it to say that we fell in love with the island. It isn't for everyone. If you want night life, fancy restaurants and crowed beaches, this isn't the place for you. It is as I would have imagined Hawaii to be many years ago. It is a a laid back place with a natural beauty that we have found no where else. It is a simple life with simple but delicious places to eat. If you want fancy, then the Hotel Molokai might be the best place to go and it isn't what I would call fancy. T-shirts and shorts are the norm everywhere. Otherwise, do as the locals do....go up to the counter at several small places, order a plate of your favorite and sit on the outside tables provided. Then enjoy! It is truly a magical place and we are already planning an extended stay there. Thanks Amanda!! Joe & Joyce..."

  • A most beautiful spot and comfortable stay

"This condo is on ground level just feet away from gorgeous lush gardens on this beautiful resort. Its the perfect location on the island, close to amenities, but detached enough that you can fully appreciate the lush green mountains in the background - the scenery behind the resort is breathtaking! The neighbors are super friendly, the apartment is very well set up with an abundance of kitchen essentials to cook your meals. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept on and no need for air conditioning as there is plenty of cool air flow throughout with the patio doors open to the ocean side. The only inconvenience we experienced was with the Internet connection as it wasn't strong enough."

  • Happiness in Paradise

"We are a family of four from France and coming to Puamana every year is a joy. Being in this unit feels like "Home away from home". The place is nicely furnished with everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. We cannot wait to go back next year hopefully. Patrick"
