  • A truly unique accommodation

"My first impression was wow, this is fantastic! And all expectations were met or exceeded throughout my 5 day experience. The Cabana is a stand alone architectural gem, a truly outstanding design that supports every aspect of comfort, relaxation and enjoyment of a great vacation. The Cabana literally sits on the water and the folding glass walls enables indoor/outdoor living at its best. Although a small footprint, the Cabana is a very unique and well thought out design, highly flexible and functional, very high end appointments and immaculate. The Hawaii Kai development is one of the best residential neighborhoods in Oahu and is located within easy reach to Honolulu, yet is also a scenic, short drive to Kailua. The development itself has all of convenient amenities one needs, including nearby golf, hiking, snorkeling, surfing, swimming and boating. Your hosts, Sarah and Curtis live on the property, are very hospitable, yet I still felt very private throughout the stay. I would recommend the Cabana to anyone seeking a unique accommodation experience, and a picturesque, tranquil, waterfront setting within an urban environment. Dean Matsumoto, Canada/Qatar"

  • The house is clean, well maintained, the layout is great for a large group and pictures are accurate

"We had a group of 8 staying at the house. With 4 bedrooms and the extra bed next to the water everyone had space of their own. The kayaks and stand up water boards were convenient and a lot of fun. The house is close to grocery stores and eating places - our favorite was The Shack. We took advantage of the boat for hire and most of us thoroughly enjoyed the tour - a couple got seasick and did not enjoy it:( We hiked up Koko Head which is only 2 1/2 miles away and the views were awesome. Our only small complaint was the hot water - assuming the water is heated with solar and it was cloudy a lot we had mostly luke warm showers. Overall a fantastic house and would recommend it."

  • Family Vacation at Nani Wai

"We loved our stay at this property. It was large enough for the 11 of us to sit at meals together and had lots of room for lounging. The house was clean well stocked for our needs. Even beach towels were included. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and enjoyed paddle boarding. We were within an easy drive to the beaches, hiking, food shopping, and tourist attractions. Our contact person was wonderful and responded quickly whenever we had questions or concerns. We would recommend this property."

  • Beautiful house, fantastic owners!!!

"We are a family of 5 with 3 kids aged 8-15. We come to Oahu every 1.5 yrs and normally rent a house. This one clearly ranks above all the others we've had before. The place is modern, upscale, super clean and very well equipped with all amenities. BBQ and patio out back is well appointed, the house itself is well stocked with snorkelling equipment, beach toys, chairs and boogie boards. Washing machines were much appreciated along with the Vitamix blender for homemade acai bowls :) The best part of the experience was interacting with the gracious owners Liane and Dana. What wonderful people. They were always quick to answer questions and were genuinely concerned that we have the best stay ever. On our last night they even took us crabbing, which the kids loved (ymmv). We definitely will return. Mahalo L and D for a great vacation!"
