  • Beautiful sunsets and views across the Kennebec.

"Very well maintained and clean cottage. The second floor porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee, to enjoy a good book or take a nap. The breeze off the water was refreshing with all of the heat this week. Close to all our favorite spots: Popham beach, Anna's Waterfront Restaurant, Bath Sweet Shoppe and the Mustard Seed Bookstore."

  • Beautiful and well equipped home in charming area

"We enjoyed our 12 August days in Pemaquid Harbor very much. Having never been to Maine and not familiar with the vibe, we first weren't so sure, but over the time, we fell in love with both the house and the area. Alicia and David were very friendly and helpful, gracious in sharing their house and equipment, and gave a lot of good advice. The house is beautiful, surrounded by nature aand very well equipped: appliances, kitchenware, games, beach gear, tennis and bikes. Some of these items have probably seen better days but all did their purpose. There is no A/C, but on the hot nights, the fans were sufficient. The Pemaquid peninsula has all we wanted in close driving distance: a colonial historic site, a very nice white beach, pretty little shopping town (Damariscotta) and most of all the romantic little light house on the beautiful rock ledges where we rounded up many of our days for sunsets. We did daytrips to Boothbay and Camden, but after a while in Pemaquid, we saw no need in hauling all the way to Acadia National Park."
