  • Just perfect!

"Booked the home for my family to stay all together for my daughters wedding weekend at CBMM. Worked out perfectly. Location was close but gave us room to get away from the town and enjoy time with each other. House is meticulously cared for, and we had a lot of comparisons as we had 220 guests attend the wedding staying all over St. Michaels. View was stunning from almost every room. Porch was our favorite. Plenty of room for our full house. All elements pleased the variety of my family members. Well appointed kitchen. Bathrooms at every turn. Large living room for that era. Spaciousness was key. A couch in the living room would've been nice for Sunday football relaxation after a late night wedding. Pool area was perfect. Gorgeous view right on creek. Would definitely return! Felt a bit rushed at checkout. Hard to pack up 4 families at once but I guess rules are rules. Thank you to Jackie and Tina for understanding my family's needs and allowing me to relax about at least one element of a very stressful weekend. I've booked many rental properties and also had rental properties and this was a first class deal!"

  • Perfect!

"This is one of the nicest apartments we've rented. Absolutely perfect location, walking distance to everything. It's a lovely house that's been restored with care. We are a family with four children: kids had the upstairs with their own bathroom, and we had the downstairs bedroom, plenty of room and privacy for everyone--this would also work out very well for two couples traveling together. Marlys was lovely, it was clear she has put a good deal of thought into what would make things easier for a traveler. There was soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you might need (I bought eggs and then thought oh no, what will I cook them with? and then I discovered there was not only oil but also a stick of butter--perfect!), washing machine with detergent, dishwasher with soap--it was like being at home, IF our home were prettier and cleaner! And the garden is beautiful, I wish we had had more time to just sit and enjoy! So much nicer than staying in a hotel! When we come back to Annapolis, we will definitely try to stay here again!"

  • A "magical" location

"Our family has just returned from a stay at this wonderful property. We also rented its sister property and so had use of the whole "compound". The main house consisted of a screened porch, large dining/living room, chef quality kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a laundry room. We also rented the house "up the hill" (not much of a hill) which had a galley kitchenette, pool table, porch, living/dining area, two bedrooms, bathroom with jacuzzi and steam shower and a porch. My husband and I stayed in the smaller of the two houses. Our son and girlfriend, daughter and son in law and two grandsons stayed in the larger (main) house. Both homes are beautifully decorated and appointed. Finally, our dog was able to accompany us, and while not enjoying the scenery from the expansive yard, she had quite deluxe accommodations in a large screened in totally sheltered porch. The property is phenomenal. Because the owners use only organic and biodegradable products on the property, wildlife abounds. We saw more toads and butterflies than I have seen since as a child growing up in rural Pennsylvania. We regularly saw rabbits and deer, and one evening watched five bucks standing and grazing on the lawn. Many different types of birds were sighted as well. There is a horse farm next door; our son's girlfriend is an accomplished rider, and so was able to have lessons in jumping and dressage from the owner - nearly spur of the moment. Jim was available whenever we needed him and provided a highchair as soon as we asked. Many of us went on long bicycle rides, and also did fishing in the area. Rock Hall is a charming little town; we enjoyed the coffee house there, as well as the very nice small public pool. We highly recommend this property and hope to return."

  • Wonderful, relaxing stay on the Chesapeake

"Well, we had the best (but too short) getaway at this spectacular vacation home. I can't say enough. The house is well equipped and easily large enough for our four adults and one child. Beautiful sunsets. Beautiful walks. Property was clean and very well maintained. The Sanders are great hosts and met us on site to explain things to us. Pretty sure we will return again in the future."
