  • Wonderful break in a beautiful place

"The home was everything you expect and see on the site and more. We had a wonderful stay and Ben the host was very helpful when we had a few questions. I'd love to go back one day."

  • Excellent up-island property

"Fantastic home in the middle of MV. We ate on the large outside table most nights. Spacious and very quiet at night. Bike down the street to the major island bike paths. West Tisbury address gets you beach access to Lambert's Cove beach. Awesome! We will be back next summer. Caveats: 1) No A/C. But even in August heat air flow was great so not needed; 2) Property is close to airport so you'll hear planes from time to time."

  • Any concerns washed away the moment we arrived! Truly a gem we want to keep secret :)

"We first planned to stay for 2 weeks, but we had cold feet and eventually decided on just 1 week. For preparations, we purchased battery operated everything - but it was all for 'naught! The owners have been coming here for years and have thought of every detail you can imagine! Felicity makes sure to speak to each renter before committing, explaining the near outhouse bathroom (not nearly as bad as it might sound, though admittedly easier for men then women!) , use of handpump for water ( we had to use bottled water for drinking, provided by the owners) , and to make sure renters have a vehicle sufficient to make the long trek down dirt roads (our Subaru Outback was fine). We chose to sleep in the separate bedroom, but there are also 2 twin rooms, as well as 2 day beds in the main room.( the 2 rooms with a twin bed each was not clear to me from the original description. My husband and I each took one as our own for our belongings). We had beautiful sunsets every single night! One thing I would recommend is to bring your own water shoes (the extras in the shed were mostly men's large it seems). The beach is BEAUTIFUL for walking, kayaking, and sitting, but the bottom is more mucky than sand. This is not the place for people who plan to be out partying on Circuit Ave every night. But if you want a beautiful, private location to get away, do art or writing, walking and boating, this is ideal. We definitely hope to come back next summer. For two weeks this time."

  • This spot was a perfect retreat for our family:)

"We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin an had an incredible week. For us, this location struck the perfect balance of being remote and connected. We had no wifi--and liked it that way. We could walk down to a sandy spot by on the pond where our kids could swim and play and we could park beach chairs and read, or pile into the canoe for an adventure. It was also nice to drive into town once a day for dinners out, shopping, walks or visits to public beaches. The cabin is rustic, the view of the pond is amazing and peace surrounded by those woods is just perfect."
