  • Stately Historic Home on prestigios N Water St

"A truly superb home with all the amenities and ideally located. It was a A brief ten minute walk to fine dining and shops in Edgartown. Staying in this elegant home was an experience in itself. It had all the finery and grandeur of a home of its significance but still fet warm and cozy for family gatherings. Although the home is ideally suited for a family reunion with may adult couples and children in tow, my four sisters and our mother (who requires a wheel chair ) never felt lost in this grand home. Highly reccommend!"

  • A clean, like new home and great location

"Nice home, with three bedrooms, two king upstairs and two twins down. Nice size kitchen with everything I could think of. Also big dining room. The two bathrooms, one up, are very adequate. Room for two cars to park easy in front very quite area. Nice deck. Has gas gas grill. (Did not use) Location was great for us. We put our car on the ferry as recommended.. Make sure you get a reservation for Steamship Authority months before or you may miss your important event. The sooner the better. It was the best way to travel on the island. House is less than two miles from Edgartown. Bikes work great also so bring with if can. Traveling to the west end (Chilmark, etc) was great and fantastic views. Walk down to ocean to see beautiful colored cliffs. Take a swim. Edgartown is busy so go early if driving as parking is minimal. Have breakfast at Among the Flowers rest. After 9:30am get in lineReasonably priced and great food. Then walk the village shops. Most open at 10 am. Also see the many captains homes. Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven are also a must see. Great food at Art Cliffs diner in V. Haven. The owner of this rental was very quick to respond to questions, payment receipts, deposits and refunds. Also helpful with questions regarding our stay at M Vineyard. Hope we can return again. September is a great time of year for the Vineyards."

  • Great place to stay!!

"We had our annual 'girls biking week getaway' and stayed here early September. The home was clean, comfy, and just right for us (would have been perfect if 2 bathrooms) but it was A-OK. The distance to town was great and we used the bikes provided to get everywhere!! We meet to ride so not having car on island was ok. We rode into town and grocery shopped, met some awesome people, and enjoyed the island on bike. Steve was great to work with and he answered any questions we had promptly, even during our say. Home is clean, had all we needed, and I recommend it to anyone visiting MV."
