  • Perfect Location!

"We stayed here August 13-20th. The home is just across from the Dune climb and we used the canoe and paddle boat often. We were 5 adults and 2 kids (4 and 7) staying at the house with multiple other family members staying in the area so we had wonderful large family dinners on the patio with an amazing view. The round patio table was a bit difficult to get in and out of sometimes. The house was not updated, but very clean and provided enough space for everyone (although we spent most of the time outdoors). We climbed the dunes a few times, toured the Pierce Stocking Drive and overlooks and floated the Platte River to Lake Michigan. We would highly recommend this home and had a wonderful time!"

  • A little piece of joy

"This is a sweet cabin in a perfect location. The cabin was immaculate, had a great layout, and included everything we needed. Lovely outdoor fire pit overlooking the lake. Perfect for quiet, restful nights. The cabin is extremely well situated; it's near a ton of hikes, a bike path, close to Empire and Glen Arbor, and the dunes. We also enjoyed all the historic architecture in the area and all the local food! We went in early June, as the lilacs were blooming and the air was infused with their scent—so lovely!"

  • A quiet place in the woods.

"The Tree House is a perfect place to base a tour of the Leelanau Peninsula. The location is good for drives to Sleeping Bear, Glen Lake, Leelanau, Northport, Frankfort and so on, while coming back to a comfortable and well equipped cabin in the woods. Quiet and secluded. Be prepared for stairs, as it is a carriage house over a large garage. A great place for a couple with a dog. Norm is a good host."

  • Lovely Memorial Day Weekend!

"Rick and Suzanne's house is simply lovely. Wonderful layout, great kitchen. We found little thoughtful details everywhere: a Petosky stone in the bathroom stone floor, a state of Michigan rock at the entrance. We used the hammock, the grill, the outdoor table, the firepit! Easy walk to Glen Arbor. Rick answered quickly when we asked about best beaches -- and we loved them too. (end of Bay road and Glen Haven FYI!). Quite, convenient to Glen Arbor. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
