  • Quiet Vintage Cabin

"We stayed in the house for a week in late July. We picked it for it's A-frame architecture, hoping for a mid-century gem. It totally was. The pics don't do the house justice. It has some nice touches and cool things happening. House was perfect size beds and baths and decks to the outside were all on point. The private beach and wooded view to Big Glen off the back deck was unbeatable. We certainly had some fires burning on beach at sunset. Really enjoyed our stay and would for sure come back if we return to Big Glen."

  • Awesome

"This is a spectacular rental. The moment we walked in we were delighted with the layout, cleanliness and beauty of the house and surroundings. It was much more impressive than even the pictures suggested. It is the best stocked house we have ever rented with more than adequate kitchen supplies, paper goods and soap. The location is wonderful, within walking distance of everything in Glen Arbor. We spent an afternoon riding bikes as the bike trail runs in front of the house. Despite the noncompliance of the weather, one day full of rain, the puzzles in the house (and wifi connections) kept everyone entertained. The owners were spectacular, sending an incredible amount of information about the area before arrival, and calling the day we arrived to be sure everything was in order. My wife fell in love with the house and we are trying to arrange our schedule so we can return again."

  • A quiet place in the woods.

"The Tree House is a perfect place to base a tour of the Leelanau Peninsula. The location is good for drives to Sleeping Bear, Glen Lake, Leelanau, Northport, Frankfort and so on, while coming back to a comfortable and well equipped cabin in the woods. Quiet and secluded. Be prepared for stairs, as it is a carriage house over a large garage. A great place for a couple with a dog. Norm is a good host."

  • Great lake house, great location, awesome owners

"Nice house six feet from the shore. Beautiful views inside and out. Fully stocked and perfect lake house for us to have a great family vacation. lots of hours spent in lake and nearby sites at dunes, glen arbor and more. Owners were extremely nice and helpful. They were very proactive in setting up a dock ladder for our little kids and explaining everything. Highly recommended"
