  • Had a fabulous week!

"We stayed in the East cottage and my brothers' family stayed in the West. We found both very well equipped. The cottages are not fancy which is what we liked about it! No need to be fussing about the place when there are so many other things to do! Glad Lake is absolutely unreal! It is as blue as the Carribean and crystal clear. We brought our boat and spent hours tubing, skiing and mostly wake surfing. We had quite a few people there with us one afternoon and there were plenty of chairs, lots of room in the yard and on the beach, great sunset view and bonfire pit on the beach. The whole area is full of natural beauty and there are so many amazing places to see. We highly recommend these cottages and will certainly be back next summer."

  • Excellent rental!

"3 retired adults spent a wonderful week in the house on the creek. The location is wonderful if you like secluded (we do). As advertised, it is in the woods on a creek. We all took lots of bug spray and did not need it. We sat on the deck/balcony every morning drinking coffee and had dinner there every night. However, around 8:30, we did move indoors because one of us felt a mosquito. Not bad!!!!! The kitchen is superb for at least two cooks. There is plenty of room and every utensil one would need. However, we finally managed to find one missing utensil….a potato masher to smash some wonderful fingerling potatoes we bought at a farm stand. As you can tell, if that is the only utensil not available….it is a very very well stocked kitchen. There is an adequate collection of seasonings. There was a large collection of dishes, glasses, and flatware. Water pressure and amount of hot water was excellent. Bathrooms were comfortable and showers were powerful. Tubs were comfortable. Beds were comfortable. We did not use the lower level (except for the excellent washer/dryer), but did see that it was cooler than the rest of the house. That may be an issue for someone who wanted to be there. Internet was more than adequate. Cell phone coverage was spotty (I found a spot on the porch to make calls using Verizon). In the area, our iPhone (Verizon) GPS often did not keep up with where we were. We found that Toms in Traverse City had adequate grocery supplies. The local farm stands were great for produce. Anderson’s in Glen Arbor was pricier than Toms. The house is rather open so sound does carry. There were barking dogs that barked a long time before their owners brought them in. At least it ended by 8 p.m. or thereabouts. That was somewhat annoying, but we were quite a distance from them. However, when we were out walking on the road, it was very annoying. In sum, it was an excellent rental (I have rented well over 50 properties through VRBO and am pretty picky). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to a friend to rent."

  • Wonderful stay - great accomodations!

"We had a great vacation - this condo is very well set up - beach chairs, internet connection, beach towels and games for the kids, everything was just fantastic! Kitchen well set up - everything was just very convenient! Very clean and well maintained, and great views and very close to the beach. We liked it so much that we have already booked for a third year next summer!"

  • M&K

"Another great stay at Creekside. Convenient to all our Sleeping Bear favorites like Glen Arbor, Leland, Cedar Taco stand, Market 22 and the best beaches around! Spent a great day on the Glen Lakes and we enjoyed a morning kayaking down the Crystal River another day. Creekside has everything we need to have a comfortable week Up North. Clean, well stocked and a quiet secluded spot in the woods. Washer and dryer are a huge plus. Bringing our bikes next year as Creekside is close to the Heritage Bike trail! Highly recommend!"
