  • Lovely Memorial Day Weekend!

"Rick and Suzanne's house is simply lovely. Wonderful layout, great kitchen. We found little thoughtful details everywhere: a Petosky stone in the bathroom stone floor, a state of Michigan rock at the entrance. We used the hammock, the grill, the outdoor table, the firepit! Easy walk to Glen Arbor. Rick answered quickly when we asked about best beaches -- and we loved them too. (end of Bay road and Glen Haven FYI!). Quite, convenient to Glen Arbor. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

  • Very Comfortable!

"We had 4 couples and we all agreed the beds and furniture were comfortable! The view is fantastic with the windows in livingroom/diningroom and upstairs bedroom and balcony all facing the water! We were there Sept 24 - 28 so we did not swim or use beach items but the weather was fabulous all 5 days. There were walking trails in the woods and the area's streets were great for walking also. Having gone through what must have been a tornado the month before, there were fallen, uprooted trees all over the place so it was quite a sight. The condo was well stocked, as previous reviews mentioned, and the unexpected flights of stairs to get to the this top condo were tough when moving stuff in but we really loved being in the top condo. I highly recommend this condo and its beautiful location near so many neat places to visit."

  • Excellent stay in clean and comfortable lakeside cottage

"Just returned from a three night stay at this lakeside cottage. We found Cottage #2 to be exceptionally clean and comfortable. Fully furnished with more than we needed! Comfortable queen bed, other bedroom had bunk beds. We took advantage of the firepit, right on the west shore of Lime Lake. We also brought a trolling motor and took the Lund aluminum boat out for a "sunset cruise". We saw a bald eagle while we were on the water! *bonus* This is a great place to stay while exploring the Sleeping Bear National Lake Shore, Glen Arbor, Leland, and the surrounding areas. It is a place we would love to return to if we are ever in the area. Thank you for providing such a lovely cottage."

  • Great for relaxing or exploring

"We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, relaxing setting and beautiful view at this condo. It is very spacious, light, and open. The beds were especially comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, and the view of the sunsets from the balcony was magnificent. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels, soaps, and supplies. Art's, Cherry Republic, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and walks on the beach are favorite things to do in Glen Arbor. We enjoyed kayaking on the Crystal River and bike riding to Empire. The shops and restaurants in Fishtown in Leland were also a highlight. The property manager was very helpful and accommodating during the reservation and check-in process. They let us know the rental was ready and we were able to check in a little early. I would definitely rent this again and will work with the property manager again. Looking forward to doing it again!"
