  • Quiet Vintage Cabin

"We stayed in the house for a week in late July. We picked it for it's A-frame architecture, hoping for a mid-century gem. It totally was. The pics don't do the house justice. It has some nice touches and cool things happening. House was perfect size beds and baths and decks to the outside were all on point. The private beach and wooded view to Big Glen off the back deck was unbeatable. We certainly had some fires burning on beach at sunset. Really enjoyed our stay and would for sure come back if we return to Big Glen."

  • Really Enjoyed This Home

"My wife and I and our two adult daughters stayed at Bear Hollow. We had a wonderful vacation. Part of why we enjoyed it so much was this great little cottage. It is a very well maintained property and was very clean when we arrived. And was completely outfitted with everything you would need for the week. From hand soap to kitchen towels to an abundance of bath towels. It was about a 2 minute stroll to the private beach with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. One thing we really enjoyed was walking into downtown Glen Arbor for shopping and dinner. Our favorite place is sitting outside at Art's Tavern. We also enjoyed a hearty breakfast at Art's before heading up to Cathead Bay in Northport to search for Petoskey stones."

  • Fall Color Tour 2016

"Fall Color Tour 2016 at the Cabin on Shetland Creek was absolutely perfect. Beautiful, private, clean home with so much attention to detail. Plenty of room inside and 2 cover outside decks along with a cover walk out patio, leading to a beautiful clearing overlooking the creek. The fire pit was used daily and we sat and watch blue heron run the creek, and a great horned owl nesting in a broken off pine in the backyard. Close to Lake Michigan, Glen Arbor, Leland, Pierce Stocking Drive (a must), and many other beautiful places that make Pure Michigan a great place to be. Thanks Ed and Dawn for giving us the opportunity to bring our dog Remy. She enjoyed the fresh air on the deck from sun up to sun down."
