  • Beautiful property in lovely location

"This house is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. It is located directly onto the lake with its own bathing platform and pier. It even has play equipment for the children. We had the downstairs bedroom with a very comfy bed. Although the upstairs bed was ok, it was rather squeaky. the kitchen is very well equipped, although we Brits, missed the kettle. Yes, we do drink tea all the time. Overall, we would recommend this house to other families, although if you have robust children, you may feel anxious about keeping the pale carpeting in a good condition."

  • Quiet Vintage Cabin

"We stayed in the house for a week in late July. We picked it for it's A-frame architecture, hoping for a mid-century gem. It totally was. The pics don't do the house justice. It has some nice touches and cool things happening. House was perfect size beds and baths and decks to the outside were all on point. The private beach and wooded view to Big Glen off the back deck was unbeatable. We certainly had some fires burning on beach at sunset. Really enjoyed our stay and would for sure come back if we return to Big Glen."

  • Great house, location, and experience

"We had a great time in August. The backyard was perfect for our toddler because it was flat and wasn't right on top of the lake. Fisher Lake was very shallow and we enjoyed hanging out there the days we didn't go to Lake Michigan. It very close to the main area of Glen Arbor and all the neighboring sites/attractions. It was very clean and updated and had all the amenities we needed for the week."

  • We loved every minute

"A wonderful base to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes and surrounding countryside - if you can tear yourself away from the quaint cottage and stunning Glen Lake. It was our first time in the area. The Front Cottage is just beautiful, and suited us + dog perfectly. We cooked in every night, enjoying dinner on the deck,as nowhere else could afford us such amazing sunsets and tranquility. Morning coffee by the lake was also memorable. We had marvelous weather, but even if it had rained, we would not have complained, as there is an open fire and the cottage is just so cozy. We will be back!"
