  • Fantastic Week!

"Glen Lodge worked out perfectly for our family get-together. It has been over 20 years since we stayed at the lodge and it is better than ever. The three suites made for great fun for the grand children, children and grand parents. The spacious lake front property, the dock and the swimming raft all got plenty of use during our stay. I can't say enough about the hospitality the Ricker family showed us. We will be going back for many years to come."

  • Had a fabulous week!

"We stayed in the East cottage and my brothers' family stayed in the West. We found both very well equipped. The cottages are not fancy which is what we liked about it! No need to be fussing about the place when there are so many other things to do! Glad Lake is absolutely unreal! It is as blue as the Carribean and crystal clear. We brought our boat and spent hours tubing, skiing and mostly wake surfing. We had quite a few people there with us one afternoon and there were plenty of chairs, lots of room in the yard and on the beach, great sunset view and bonfire pit on the beach. The whole area is full of natural beauty and there are so many amazing places to see. We highly recommend these cottages and will certainly be back next summer."

  • Location, Location, Location

"We stayed here on Labor Day weekend, the cabin was perfect for our family of 4. It was simple yet sufficient for our family, if you are looking for something extravagant this is not the place for you. The location was absolutely amazing the area is one of the most pristine and beautiful I have been to in Northern Michigan (this was not our first time in the region), one thing that stood out the most for me is that we did not need to get into the car to go to the dunes, the Heritage Bike Trail is literally across the street and the main Dune Climb is a short bike/walk. The bike ride to Glen Arbor was about 4 miles and we stopped at Glen Haven about half way and watched a blacksmith make a coat hook and looked at some old boats, there is also a Lk Mich Beach there. Our boys and I loved fishing in the crystal clear Little Glen and just relaxing on the shore. If you like craft beer there is no brewery but go to Art's Tavern, Short's makes a beer specifically for them. A larger beach area would have been nice, some of the brush growth could be cleared out from either side to enhance the view of the lake and enlarge the beach area, and have the beach area more maintained lots of reeds growing on it. Also, linens would've been nice but weren't a deal breaker."
