  • A True Gem just off the beaten path.

"After many visits to Saugatuck we decided to go more "rustic". After much trolling we kept coming back to this wonderful authentic cottage, being drawn into the photo of the Pier and Adirondack love seat, with visions of fishing in our heads. Luckily we were able to book it, as this fantasy did not disappoint. Everything photographed is 20 times better in person. Clean, comfy, well equipped, has everything you need and then some! The Super comfy King bed was a treat! Location is awesome. Everything you may need is 1 mile away on the corner...flowers, fruit, groceries, bait...etc. while this cottage is large with several beds, it was just the two of us and was still PERFECT. The lake is so beautiful and quiet! People are out fishing and swimming and playing at a perfectly relaxed pace. We can't say enough and we're able to make fun and lasting memories for our Anniversary weekend. Plus we caught 19 large mouth Bass and we don't fish! Now we are hooked! Can't wait to return. Thank you Dunscombs for keeping the integrity of this Family treasure. As a guest, you can feel the love. Chris & Ellyn McInnis Mt.Prospect, Il."

  • A lovely cottage in a great location in Downtown Saugutuck!

"We came to the cottage for a girls getaway with friends, and it is beautifully decorated, very clean and has everything you need! We absolutely loved the large screened in porch in the back, and it's located at the top of the hill making it a quick and easy walk into downtown Saugutuck with awesome sales this time of year! We did get very lucky with the weather, in the mid 70's most of the week. Cathy was extremely helpful with any questions we had, and we wouldn't have had to ask her if we would've read the complete book by the front door which answers most any question you may have. Such a great relaxing week in a great location, we cannot wait to return next year!"

  • Perfect for Family Gatherings

"We had several families come together at The Manor for a family reunion. Pictures don't do this property justice. Large family gathering places inside and out, roomy well-equipped kitchen and dining areas for eating-in (only need to bring food), spacious bedrooms and baths. We didn't leave the place the entire weekend except for golf. Loaded with nooks and crannies with period pieces. This home goes on and on and on. Our family ranged in age from 9 months to 74 years -- everyone enjoyed the entire weekend of getting away and living in a true mansion atmosphere. Laura was quickly responsive to our questions and requests. Highly recommend The Manor for family and couple gatherings meant for relaxation and just being together."

  • Perfect weekend getaway

"We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The unit was perfectly sized, warm and inviting for couples. Located in a perfect spot to view the water as you walk out the door in the morning and also to grab a bite to eat in seconds. Unit was well equipped including everything you'd need to prepare a meal or get ready in the morning. The unit was immaculate and newly renovated. Marta was a wonderful host, and even dropped off a fantastic wine and cheese basket. The ability to park in the driveway was an added plus. Can't wait for our next stay!"
