  • Excellent House - Great Week!

"This house made for an excellent vacation. We were comfortable for the week even with 8 children! The house was clean and had all the amenities needed. The roof deck and its views were a plus. Sunrises and Sunsets were beautiful to see without leaving the house! The location is great with convenient walking distance to stores, mini golf, surf shop etc..."

  • Perfect getaway

"Far and away the nicest place we have rented at LBI - clean, well appointed and very conveniently located. Though close to the beach and walking distance to most anything you could need, it was also privately situated behind the main house. Good parking, too! A little gem!"

  • 28th Street cottage

"My wife and I have been renting this cottage every year for many years. One of the reasons we keep returning is because we think it is the ideal summer cottage. While the outside may look dated (compared to today's "McMansions"), inside it has been totally renovated with bright shore-appropriate colors and furniture. Now that it has been raised, it offers a front deck on which to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or to savor your morning coffee. While there is air-conditioning, being elevated allows you to open the windows and better enjoy the wonderful sea breezes. It is bright and open inside, and roomier than it may appear from the outside. The kitchen has marble counter-tops and the latest appliances, along with every utensil one would want to prepare home-cooked meals during your stay (as we do.) The first floor has a living room adjoining the kitchen, ample seating, a large TV, a full bathroom with a washer and dryer, and a master bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with two twin beds, a sitting room with an additional TV, and a half bath -- ideal if you have children or drop-in guests. And with the newly remodeled Acme supermarket just two miles down the boulevard, it is no longer necessary to travel all the way over to the mainland for your grocery needs. Needless to say, we plan to return yearly for as many years as the good Lord lets us."

  • September Sanctuary

"Long Beach Island is great post-season. Although the rip currents made it impossible to go into the ocean and it was too windy for the beach, we spent a lot of time in the bay waters, which were still warm. There is a bay beach and playground (great for small children) within walking distance (16th st), and it is a quick drive to Beach Haven for paddleboarding lessons. The house was so cozy and comfortable, and was set up well for 6 people to relax without feeling like we were stepping on top of each other. Not having to bring a high chair, pack n play, and toys from home were a plus since we had limited space in our car. Not to mention the awesome toy store (Haymarket) right on the corner! Thank you, we will be back."
