  • Down by the Bay - week of relaxation

"My boyfriend's family and I (6 adults, 1 baby) stayed in the bottom apartment for a week in June. The weather was wonderful, the bay was warm and beautiful, and the apartment was fantastic! There is a spacious master bedroom with its own bathroom (plus - two sinks, large shower!) and a king size bed (very comfortable - bring your own sheets and blanket). Then there are 3 rooms on the other side of the kitchen (the separation was nice), 2 having a queen size bed and 1 having a queen and a twin along with another bathroom with a tub. The kitchen had every utensil, dish, misc item (including a junk drawer) that you needed and the dishwasher made clean up so much easier. There was also a washer/dryer in the wet bar area which was perfect for towels and bathing suits after days hanging by the bay or beach. The apartment also has a little bit of a larger balcony (waist high enclosed with glass) than the upstairs apartment that has a table/chairs and a grill. We spent a lot of time out there with a beautiful breeze (no bugs when it's breezy but bring some spray for still nights) and a wonderful view of the bay and all of its activity. Beach badges for Ship Bottom were provided (8) and the drive over the bridge was quick and easy! You can drive the other way for access to a WalMart for any grocery needs, also. If bringing a mobile baby, I would suggest bringing a baby gate as the stairs just lead directly into the apartment. The views from the living area on the opposite side of the living room are beautiful with green marshland and more water activity (also a pair of binoculars!). We didn't get around to it but there are a few local areas that offer kayak and jetski rentals and there is a dock that the owner rents out for this use. We would definitely stay here again, what a great week!"

  • Pleasant experience

"We had an enjoyable experience. The house a converted cape and is a little "cozy" for 12 people, but you don't spend all that much time in the house anyway. The LR furniture is a little tired and the garage converted into a dining room had no insulation and a small window A/C unit which could not keep up. The whole house is cooled with window units. The house is generally well stocked with linens, towels and kitchen ware. The appliances have all been updated. The gem of the house is the backyard. Lots of furniture, grill, fire pit, hot tub etc. Very nice. The Friday to Friday rental also works well. The staff of Style Vacation Homes could not have been nicer or more helpful."

  • Adorable house, great location!

"This house was great! So close to the beach with awesome yard and porch. Would definitely recommend for families with only one couple as the other two bedrooms are a little too small and would be best for kids/single occupants. The master was gorgeous and so comfortable! Really close to bageleddies and the ravioli place, Hay Market, Joe Pops...etc. It was awesome!"
