"My husband, dog, and I stayed in "El Nido" for four nights on our first visit to Santa Fe. Just as it's name implies, El Nido was our nest while exploring and learning about this uniquely beautiful and historical place. The casita was well equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable. Linda, our hostess provided a bottle of wine and fresh flowers which made us feel very welcome. Linda also gave us a mini lesson on El Nido's historical significance, gave us a detailed map and suggestions of landmarks and restaurants we should not miss and checked on us as we acclimated to Santa Fe. We walked to the Governor's Palace in the Square, the beautiful churches, the museums and restaurants with ease from our convenient location . The Spanish architecture took my breath away. We particularly enjoyed the Georgia O'Keeffe museum, the Cowgirls Restaurant, the Upper Crust- excellent pizza and so much more. Great jewelry by Native people especially James Eustace at the Palace. Due to the size of El Nido, we felt a bit confined as there was no couch, just a bed, otherwise I would have rated it a 5. Wouldn't hesitate to return.
