  • Fantastic Getaway

"My husband and I found this place online and it was exactly what was describled on the website. Its an amazing gem in the Adirondacks. We brought our 5 years white labrador to relax by the lake, go for nature walks and just get away from the hustle and busle of everyday life. This cabin was a perfect spot. the property was very well maintained the beach area had everything you needed. The cabin had everything you could ask for. the owners live on the property but they leave you alone but yet are there if you needed anything at all, they have two friendly labradors which greeted us often. If you are looking for a peacful getaway this is the place for you."

  • Mountain view great location

"Great location! Wrap around porch is such a great spot to relax ! We spent 3 nights and wish we had spent a few more. House is beautifully decorated and plenty of space inside and out. Mike was very easy to get ahold of and easy to work with . This was our 5th year in a row to the area ( always rent a house ) and this is the only house we have rented that we said we would definitely return to ."

  • Beautiful, well-equipped, and essentially new home away from home

"As much as we enjoyed all the outdoor activities that Lake George had to offer, we loved coming back to this gorgeous home. The house is beautifully decorated and the quality of the furnishing is solid. We loved the big backyard, the wrap around deck and the screened-in porch. No bugs! We have rented quite a few homes for our vacations and this is probably one of the best equipped kitchens that we had the pleasure of cooking our meals in. The house has just about everything you would use/need if you lived there yourself. The owners/property managers really understand what renters need during their stay. For example, there were operating instructions displayed by the TV/media station and the gas fireplace. The one gripe is that they only provide starter rolls of TP in the bathrooms, after that you need to supply your own. This is mentioned in the contract, but you know how well we all read documents. Just wanted to bring this up so you can be prepared. The house is half way between Lake George Village and Bolton Landing so it was convenient to two very popular destinations. The one concern we had beforehand was about vehicle noise as the house is close to the road. This ended up not being an issue as the walls and windows muffled the noise and the bedrooms are towards the back of the house away from the road. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend this home to others."

  • Great Winter Escape

"Spent a wonderful winter weekend with my wife, parents-in-laws, and our four-legged son Memphis over a great Winterfest weekend. The house was in great shape with great furniture, appliances, and amenities (great sound system, mechanically reclining couches!). As someone who's personal house is seemingly always cold, I really appreciated the efficient heating system in this place. Comfy beds. Loved that they trusted their guests enough to outfit the house with xbox360 and some great games. Conveniently close to town while being just far enough away to feel like you've escaped the ratrace. For me, this was a great launchpad to go riding at Gore, only about 25mins away. (Never one to get enough snowboarding, I built a little trail and hit right on property lol). Our big dilemma was do we rent on the lake or in the woods. I can confidently say, at least for a winter escape, we made the right choice. However, I'm sure it'd be great in the summer as well. Owners' communications were great. The only possible concern would be for guests without four-wheel drive or front-wheel drive getting up the slightly inclined driveway in snow/ice conditions. That and if you happen to stay on trash day, taking the big barrels up the driveway could be tough for lesser-able-bodied individuals. Otherwise, place was great."
