  • Adirondack beauty!

"Five female kayakers, all 60 years old plus, could not have picked a better place to stay for three days in order to paddle the Adirondack waters. This home is located right on the shore of beautiful Upper Saranac Lake and comes supplied with all that you might need. As you enter the house, you walk up a short flight of stairs to a fully stocked kitchen, a master bedroom and bathroom, a warm living room with a gas fireplace to take away any chill, and another full bathroom. Walk down the stairs to two comfortable bedrooms and a full bath. It is the view that is amazing and owners Mike and Chris have created a variety of places to enjoy the water! Sit on the porch or by the firepit. Enjoy the seating at the dock. Better yet, climb the stairs of the boathouse and sit atop in Adirondack chairs (my favorite spot by far!) to enjoy the view of distant mountains or the starry night sky. If you paddle, this is the place for you. An easy put-in allows you to kayak for miles. You might see eagles, osprey, or other wildlife as well as many of the Adirondack great camps. Just a short hop down the road is the famous Wildlife Center at Tupper Lake -- an absolutely first-class museum of the Adirondacks. Saranac Lake and Lake Placid are also nearby with skiing, hiking and world-class restaurants. The house is clean, comfortable, and complete with anything you might need. Definitely five stars!"

  • Exceptional!

"There's not much to say that hasn't already been said about this property. It's beautiful. It's impeccably clean. Everything that you could possibly need is provided. Communication with the owner is easy and quick. The home is private and quiet. If you've found this property and it's available for your dates, then don't hesitate or look any longer.....just go ahead and book. We cooked in the beautiful, well appointed kitchen. Dined and relaxed on the screened porch. Sat by the firepit at night. The king sized bed was a great feature and not one that you usually find in a rental property. We used the canoe and they kayaks. Swam at the beach. Hiked the Tupper Lake Triad and 2 of the Saranac Six, as well as Panther. It was a perfect vacation. This is really a gorgeous home that reminded me of a story-book cottage. I would highly recommend a stay here (in case you couldn't tell already)!"

  • Adirondaks gem

"Kiwassa Lake Bed and Breakfast is a true gem quaintly located on Kiwassa Lake in Saranac Lake, New York. I visited here for a girls weekend getaway and had a fantastic visit! A secluded property with beautiful views of the lake and a delightful host family. Delicious breakfast, cheery demeanor, cozy fireplace. Camp Adelle is one of the cabins available on the property and I couldn't say enough great things about it. Private, cozy, comfortable deck for reading a book and gazing at the lake. You even have access to your own private fishing dock! You won't regret a weekend getaway at Camp Adelle. Book your stay now!"

  • Camp Northern Light - ADK 2016

"We regularly rent homes via VRBO and this was, by far, one of our best experiences. We were so pleased that they permitted us to bring our dogs along with the family! The location is perfectly placed as to near enough to run errands but far enough away from town, traffic, people, etc. We just loved the size of the home, the screened porch, the fireplace and, of course, the dock and water activities. There was always something to do on water or land. The space in the home was perfect for when we had to head in due to afternoon thunderstorms with a huge basement area for the kids; not to mention the perfect set up for the kids in their own room upstairs. The dock is set up great for fishing, boating and paddleboarding. The pond has fish galore and is a place ready for everybody and adventure. We had kids ages 9-13 who could not get enough!"
