  • Country Charm

"First I must mention that everything at the home is as pictured and described - no disappointments. The charm of the outdoor space made me not want to leave the property, and we ate all our meals outside as well as morning coffee in the rockers on the porch. Plenty of space for everyone inside as well. All the modern kitchen conveniences and electronic entertainment were there, contrasted by the homey casual décor that said WELCOME in every respect! Kristen does a great job and you would enjoy a stay here!!! (just don't book on the dates I want to return)"

  • Just what we wanted

"big homey house in Saratoga Springs close to everything with plenty of room for a family reunion. Saratoga offers something for all ages. This is the second year we have stayed here. Lily is the best, most accommodating hostess you could ever ask for."

  • Stunning, cozy and quiet

"We had a delightful time at this home with our toddler who adored swinging in the tree swing. The house is equipped with everything you need and more. We had game nights, made delicious meals with food from local markets recommended by the hosts, and we slept beautifully. We look forward to coming back, perhaps with friends for another restful country escape!"

  • The peaceful country getaway you've been dreaming about

"I was getting fed up with city life and was dying for somewhere green, cool, calm and quiet. This fantastic house fit the bill and then some! It's on a spectacular site, up a hill and backing into wilderness, so when you stop your car outside the house, all you see are green trees and green grass. It's noisy - but only with the sounds of birds, crickets, frogs and mysterious rustlings in the woods. The house is SPOTLESS, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you'd ever need: a gas grill outside, pots and pans for cooking everything from pizza to banana bread, washing machine, dryer, clothesline, clothespins, comfortable linens, extra pillows and blankets, etc.etc. There are two single beds in the basement downstairs, a double bed in the loft/attic, and a fold-out double bed in the couch. There are two ponds on the property that fascinated my small boys, with fish, frogs, frog eggs, newts, nesting birds, dragonflies, and bees. We saw a big turtle, a rabbit, deer on the road, robins, turkey vultures, goldfinches, cardinals, and more. The birds zip through the air all around you, and the comfortable chairs on the porch are the perfect place to sit any time of day with a glass of wine and gaze at the lovely scene around you. Gianni and Angela are terrifically kind and hospitable, you feel like you're visiting friends instead of renting a house. They just started a vegetable garden, so new guests may be able to pick and eat fresh tomatoes and other treats. We caught fish in the pond (large mouth bass) and grilled it, and it was delicious. We went into town for the farmer's market and ice cream, but otherwise didn't leave the property. It's that fantastic. The one drawback is that the house is quite open, and you can hear people walking anywhere in it. So if one person in your party wakes up and starts moving, everyone will wake up unless they're really deep sleepers. Probably not a problem for most, but something to be aware of. All in all, it was a fabulous long weekend. My sons wanted to stay forever."
