  • A nice relaxing getaway!

"Overall a nice relaxing experience. Only issue we had is there were about 10 flies and a couple other bugs in the cabin. Everything else was nice and clean. Very homey feel!! I would recommend a stay here any time and stay again myself."

  • Great family vacation!!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Such a great place to rent!! The owner was great to work with and the cabin was family and I (6 adults and 3 kids) had more then enough room there, the cabin was spotless and very relaxing to come back to after a long day of sight seeing and hiking a big plus was the hot tub that we used every night. We had zero complaints about this place and would stay again!! Also if you want to ride horses there is a place about 2 miles from the cabin and its called Andy's trail rides they were great and such a fun beautiful ride."

  • Nice place, functional, affordable, and in the mountains

"We enjoyed our week stay at the Pine Cone Cabin. We had 3 generations staying together, accommodating 80 year old grandparents, and 8 year old twins. We have relatives in the Sturgis area so it was easy to visit them and also do the tourist stuff near Custer State Park. The week we visited was very hot, Rapid City was 95 degrees, but we stayed cool in the 6500 ft. elevation. My only complaints are running out of toilet paper on the last day (uncool), a very slow coffee pot, and some traffic noise from the road in front of the cabin. It's private enough, but it is not secluded, its in a resort neighborhood. It was not excessive or annoying but just know that cars and ATV do travel on the road. Overall it is a very nice place, functional and affordable, and located high in the mountains. We enjoyed our time."

"My extended family stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The owner (Delf) is a wonderful host and very helpful. I recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, luxury cabin in a great Black Hills location. The view is absolutely amazing. We would definitely book here again."
