  • Great condo, great resort!

    "We had the best week staying at Zarmatt Resort. The condo provided the necessities and a good bit of fun. The kitchen had nice pans and all the appliances for us to eat in most meals. My kids couldn't get enough of the indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs. My husband and I enjoyed the fitness room and saunas/steam rooms. With three TVs in the condo, everyone got to watch what he or she desired. We kept hoping for better weather to spend more time on the tennis courts, but maybe next time. The things I wish I would've known... 1-The kitchen is well stocked with the basics. It has nothing beyond dishes, silverware (not a full set of 8) and pans (which aren't nonstick). So bring your own cooking spray, spices, and any specialty items you will need to cook with. 2-We weren't given any instructions ahead of time, and I probably should have called Midway Vacation Properties to ask these questions. I wasn't sure if the resort housekeeping was to help us with extra soap, towels, paper towels, garbage sacks, shampoo, etc. so we either got by with what was left there or purchased our own at the store in Midway. Housekeeping does not empty the trash or replace towels during your stay. With 8 of us there for 5 nights, the garbage and towel situation got a little crazy, but we got by okay. The quote of the week was my 5-year-old who said, "This place feels like my home now." Overall, we loved it and will probably consider returning there again sometime."
