  • Amazing experience!

"The wife and I had a stay-cation and this was the perfect setting. It is a cozy room but a perfect size for 2. The wood burning fireplace is amazing, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub. The view and setting of the the hot tub made it feel very secluded and peaceful. Check in was very easy with the step by step directions provided before the trip by the host. We loved going straight to our room. No need to mess with the hassle of checking in at the front desk like other Sundance lodgings. Our trip was not long enough but was very relaxing. We will book this location again. We both highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic getaway!"

  • Simple Luxury in the heart of Sundance

"Ridgetop Cabin was everything we needed for the perfect mountain getaway! There is so much fun to be had in the surrounding wilderness, but it was hard to leave the incredibly cozy and relaxing cabin! Here is a quick rundown on our memorable stay. First things first, the listing was spot on. The photos accurately portrayed all aspects of the property and both dwellings (cabin and tipi), and the description made it completely clear what we could expect. Before our stay, we were personally engaged by the concierge with directions and assistance on anything else we might have needed before our arrival. We didn't take them up on many of these offers (activity bookings, grocery shopping, etc.) but were pleasantly surprised, and relieved to know they had everything covered in case we needed it. When we arrived, the cabin was spotless, fully stocked with everything we needed, and the hot tub was warm. We cooked all meals for ourselves in the fully-equipped kitchen and even used the grill one night! Though there was minimal cell service (trust me, you need it) Wyatt made himself available to our every need through email (there's free wifi that always worked perfectly) and he answered any miscellaneous questions we had about activities and outings. We fly fished and hiked in the surrounding area and it was so refreshing to know we had our cozy base camp to go back to. We just felt right at home. This isn't the biggest property in the area, but it's very homey and cozy inside and you'll feel so relaxed during every minute you spend at Ridgetop. I highly recommend this property and the entire Stewart Mountain Lodging group for any Sundance getaway."

  • Wow! This is a great place for a special family get away.

"The accommodations were perfect for a family of our size. The location gives a feeling of seclusion which adds greatly to the enjoyment. All of our children and grandchildren have expressed a desire to rent the lodge again. The lodge was very clean, welcoming and roomy. There are lots of comfortable bedrooms. The mountain views were absolutely breathtaking. A number of us enjoyed a snowy hike to Stewart Falls. The children could watch movies or work on craft projects in some spacious areas. There are plenty of areas to gather and visit. The available extra tables and chairs were very helpful. Air hockey and ping pong were lots of fun. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and serving utensils. Having access to the internet was very helpful to many in our family. We will not hesitate to recommend the Sundance Lodge to our friends and acquaintances."

  • Immersed in nature but tricky staircase

"Pros: -Beautiful and tranquil cabin near Sundance resort -On a river -Fire pit -Secluded & quiet Cons: -2nd bedroom and loft up extremely steep staircase--more of a ladder than stairs. Can be dangerous, my 11 yr old fell/slipped coming down and got all scratched up -small beds (There were 8 of us and one of us had to sleep on a couch). Only sleeps 6 comfortably unless don't mind pairing up on full mattresses We totally loved it and would definitely stay there again. One of the most beautiful and tranquil places we ever stayed. Just be aware of the cons, not all families would be comfortable going up/down that steep staircase"
