  • Relaxing cozy farmhouse next to Virginia Creeper Trail

"From hearing the river flow right next door to the amazing fully equipped garage with a ping pong table, air hockey, multiple other games to relax with, next to the Virginia Creeper Trail just an outstanding vacation spot. Great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Almost 20 acres on site to roam with great mountain views and plenty of wildlife to view on property. We had Deer eating in the front yard during our stay."

  • Best Vacation!!

"Great cabin with great owners. They were their to meet all needs even down to ordering NFL Sunday ticket. Excellent location for the Virginia creeper trail. My husband & I came to have a nice peaceful getaway and found a nice secluded cabin with hot tub. We enjoyed camp fires every night and found the hammock very relaxing. We will definitely be going back. Mark & Diana made us right at home."

  • Very nice

"This is a really beautiful property. We walked the trails and enjoyed watching the rain come through on the big covered porch. Ther is plenty of room for food with two refrigerators. As others have suggested, make sure you bring everything you need. It is a long haul through country roads to the nearest town. Bring camp chairs because there is not nearly enough outdoor seating, especially if you have a large group. I do have a couple of suggestions for the owners. I understand from past comments that you are continually improving the property, so i hope my comments help. You need a power strip in the basement. There are several things to be plugged in, and only one outlet. You also need trash receptacles outside (preferably bear proof as we did see a nice sized black bear while we were there). Taking the trash down to a dumpster at a convenience store a couple miles down the road is not an acceptable solution. There is not nearly enough outdoor seating. Even if you just have some cheap camp chairs. More seating in the basement would be good too, especially if everyone wants to wat h a movie down there. Additional shelving in the kitchen would help. We did not have nearly enough room for non-refrigerated food. That big pantry on the right side and the corner cabinet would be much more useful with more shelving. Overall, a really beautiful place and I would stay here again. Thanks for your help while we were there."
