  • Summer Vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Elk Ridge Chalet with the family. We had a lovely time, especially, at the pool. The attendants are nice. I would suggest the property to have some bee repellents as they were out everywhere around the house and at the poolside.I would suggest the house to add a rolling pin for those that wants to bake, and a hair dryer. I loved that the house had an a/c. Overall, it was a beautiful place, great time with the family, and would be happy to come back."

  • Wonderful Retreat! Can't wait to visit again.

"This cabin was even nicer than described! It is a very rustic, cozy cabin true, but it is much more. It is beautiful and roomy; a very well thought out construction. All the comfort of an big open farm kitchen with SO MANY thoughtful little touches! (I will let you discover them yourself) , high ceilings, easy to keep clean wood floors, lots of windows to enjoy the lush green surroundings, and cute but tasteful camp decorations. The wood stove and ready supply of cut wood kept us cozy and relaxed all weekend while we enjoyed our favorite DVDs, and the central air kept the temperatures comfortable all night. There was plenty of hot water and great shower pressure and the softest plush towels I have ever found in a rental! They smelled so good, the bedding too, This cabin is in a very relaxed woodsy little community and neighboring properties have rustic touches like vintage trucks and camp trailers. It all added to the cool rustic relaxing vibe. There are neighbors on one side but there is plenty of room and privacy and a nice deck with furniture and a BBQ. It was so QUIET!!! Just the retreat we needed. We did some off-roading and explored some trails. Just wish we brought the mountain bikes! Next time.. Town was close by with great food and friendly townsfolk. I wish we could live here full time! We will be back for sure."

  • Just what we needed!

"Our family (two adults, 2 kids) stayed at Dolce Far Niente for a last-gasp vacation before school started back up again and we couldn't have made a better choice! We had everything we needed and more. The cabin is fully stocked from the kitchen to the game cabinet to the movie case and the owners, Matt and Frank, have thought of everything. Dolce has a charming ambience (LOVE the moose!) and while it is very pet and kid friendly it's also very much a grownup retreat. We spent time at the pool, went for bike rides, explored Cle Elem and Roslyn (great farmers market on Sunday) and watched a movie every night. Our family got to relax and recharge and we're already trying to figure out when we can do it again!"
