  • Can't rave enough about this house!

"We chose this house for its location right on the beach. The house was just as described, if not actually better. The kitchen and living area were so cute and cozy. I was nervous because not every room was pictured, but I should not have been because all three of the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The extra loft area/bed is a great place for kids, just lacks the privacy as it is off the hall, so I don't recommend it for adults. It is somewhat difficult to get to the beach with the large drift wood in the way. But, no one in my family had trouble climbing over. Eric, the property manager/owner, was fantastic. He was always responsive to questions, quick to refund our deposit, and even gave us tips on restaurants, grocery stores and activities. This is truly a special place. It is perfect for families or for those wanting a romantic getaway. I found the location convenient, only about a 10 minute drive to grocery, shopping, and dining. But, you will need a car with this location. Eric recommended a kayak company that brought kayaks and stand up paddle boards right to our door. I recommend taking advantage of that."

  • You will feel the family love in this house!

"Perfect for our family weekend away!! Gretchen was wonderful to work with and I am so grateful she is sharing her cozy family home with renters. You can feel the family history and love for this unique 1920's house. The area is very quiet and neighbors friendly. We had a wonderful time and will be back! The only thing bad about this house was leaving!!!"

  • An amazing vacation home!

"We just returned from an amazing family vacation at this waterfront retreat! The location and setting are perfect! Our best memories are cooking (they have everything!), sitting by the firepit, enjoying the waterfront (birds, boats, cruise ships), hiking down the steep path to the wonderful beach (easy for the young ones) or to the state park next door and driving the short distance to Langley, Coopville, Deception Pass or Ft. Casey. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because the bed and couch hide-a-bed in the guest house should not be used. We used all the beds as we had 12 people with us and the two couples who were sleeping in the guest house were extremely uncomfortable. There are some thick pads you could put on the floor but you would need good sleeping bags or a lot of padding on top of them to be comfortable. Sam is a very easy manager to work with and we thank him for a magical family vacation! I hope we can return and I am sure he will be replacing the beds!"

  • 100% Relaxation

"We came out to see a little Shakespeare in the park, and ended up finding this wonderful gem of a getaway. We would highly recommend the Bells Beach Cottage to any couple looking for a fully relaxing and recharging trip. The view was amazing and the accommodations were 4 star. The tram down to the beach was amazingly high tech and the private beach itself provided a calm and peaceful place for a stroll. We were the only ones on a miles long beach. We will be back without question. Thank you Kim and Tim for thinking of every detail for a wonderful stay!"
