  • City serenity

"Such a perfect clubhouse for 2. Very neat and clean. Comfy on the soft top mattress pad, too ! We knew to request it from previous reviews. We are former Seattle folks, and felt fun to be here as "tourists". Coffee and. treats at "Fresh Flours" is our favorite new place ! Glad to have the solar power and recycling focus. Thank you to the owners for creating such a lovely and comfortable lodging."

  • Well maintained cottage in great area

"This place is in a great area, close to shops, grocery stores, restaurants and one block from the bus stop that takes you right downtown for $2.75. Or you can Uber for about 8 dollars. I did both. The bus is very safe, clean and easy to find. The cottage owner was very helpful in pointing me in the direction to get around. She went above and beyond when I was arriving and the cottage is super cute and clean. This cottage has plenty of room for a couple or even 3 people. It has a large living room, nice full equipped kitchen, laundry and a large bedroom with a very comfy bed. The cottage is VERY quiet. There is a nice patio area so you can hang outside with a small overhang in case it's rainy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Seattle that is looking for a quiet place. I'll be a return customer!"

  • Awesome Home With Friendly Owner

"I stayed here for two weeks while traveling for work. The house was very clean and well furnished. It has a very cozy atmosphere with great relaxing areas both inside and out, especially on the front porch swing with a view of the Olympic Peninsula. The house has a definite "beachy" feel to it. The owner is a great, fun, and helpful guy you can invite over and get a local's advice on the area. The house is very close to Ballard which has plenty to see and do. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. A good time guaranteed!"

  • Week stay for a wedding with 8 guests

"This was a good home. The owner was great to work with and responsive. There was plenty of blankets and towels and other necessities and the directions were easy to find and use. Wifi was great. And the best part was the back porch with an absolutely amazing view, a grill and a hot tub! One of the highlights of our trip. The main floor rooms were comfortable however two of the bedrooms are in the basement and the set up is quite awkward - you need to walk through one bedroom to get to the other (aka the "in law suite"). The bathroom in the basement is also very awkward again because you need to walk through it and there are three different doors that access it. The toilet is not usable for guys really since it is lifted and the ceiling is low. Overall the whole house was great except the basement. The location was also great- a mile away from groceries and dinner and also a nice run to east lake and the zoo! Would definitely stay here again now that we understand the basement situation- maybe with less people."
