  • Wonderful, romantic and private!

"My husband and I had a family reunion in Wautoma and decided to look on line for a home rental with a kitchen instead of a hotel. This cabin was far better than we had hoped for. Even though you could see the owners own home this was still very private! It had a balcony off the loft bedroom that made you feel as though there wasn't another soul within miles. The pictures the owners provide are nice but the cabin is far better than the pictures display. The property is very clean and very well maintained. When you drive down the long driveway to the cabin you see nothing but beautiful woods and lots of wild life. The owners, Linda and Jerry where the best property managers you could ask for. Very helpful when we were having issues with a flat tire! Linda gave get directions for every place we needed to be that weekend. Thank you to both of you for the wonderful weekend. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a romantic weekend or a small family vacation at the Dells. Which is our next vacation plans there. I can't make to many comments about local attractions because we spent the weekend visiting family. We did have dinner at Timbers and it was fabulous. My husband had a wonderful prime rib. Thank you so much Jerry and Linda!"

  • Awesome!!!!!!

"My family had a wonderful time at the lake! This home is very well taken care of. It's exceptionally clean and wonderfully decorated. The house had central air which was really nice for hot days. The beds were comfortable and all linens were provided. Pillows are provided too, but we like to bring our own when traveling. Bathroom towels are also provided. The house is very spacious, and we were surprised at how big the living room is. There are three couches and 2 comfortable chairs. The porch overlooking the lake is where we ate all of our meals/played games, etc... There is a pavilion just up from the lake that is covered and has some lounge chairs for your enjoyment. And a wonderful sauna! There is a large pier where you can dock your boat. We had a fun time jumping off the end into the water. We fished off the dock and caught some blue gill and bass. We caught minnows and had fun looking at rocks. The lake has a sand bottom and is really clean. We would rent this house again. Thank you!!"

  • Great for large families

"We had never stayed at this location before but found the on-line descriptions and pictures very helpful in determining this would work well for our family. The house was well groomed and had everything you would need - including bath and beach towels, hand soap, laundry detergent, some starter paper products, and an extra refrigerator for beverages or freezer storage. The lake was sandy bottomed, quite thick with sand, and the grandchildren enjoyed the floating raft. The owner was always readily available for questions and responded to all needs quickly. We would love to come back!"

  • Great summer rental!

"My seven friends and I take a week long vacation each year and this was our rental for 2016. We had a wonderful time at this rental. The lake was mostly quiet with a few boats and watercraft at a time. We enjoyed kayaking(we brought our own, although one double kayak is on property along with a canoe and a paddle boat with very tricky steering). We also enjoyed the included sandy beach where we could just sit in the water and relax, chat, swim, or read. The upper deck and lower patio were also great places for gathering and relaxing. We walked nearly every day and had fun looking at all the different styles of homes on the lake. Wautoma offers several tasty restaurants--our favorites being The Moose Inn(we walked there), the Farm Market(lunch spot), Christiano's(pizza, pasta and sandwiches)and Silvercryst (the less expensive bar menu). We also took some day trips into Princeton, Oshkosh, Ripon and WI Dells. There are good wineries in the a Dells and Ripon. Princeton has great antiques, a couple of nice restaurants(Blue Moon) and shops. This is the first rental we've ever had that required us to bring our own sheets and pillows. We also recommend bringing your own tp, dish soap, trash bags, some food storage bags or Tupperware, towels and personal supplies. The owner was incredibly nice, very quick to respond to questions, and was also kind enough to supply some firewood, water, and frozen pizzas. The rental is perfect for families or groups of friends."
