"Great home for a large group. Rented this home to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. Lots of room, kitchen great size and downstairs game room and bar was a wonderful hangout. Young and old enjoyed playing pool, ping pong, and darts. Plum lake is beautiful, sat on the deck and watched the sunsets. Will definitely rent again, look forward to it."

"10 of us had a great Christian Retreat easily accommodating all of our needs for a long weekend of fun, relaxation, great eats, worship, sightseeing... Incredible views from the family room of the lake with a fireplace! Haven't been here in the Summer but imagine the North Woods have to be stunning as they sure were in the Winter!! Big Property with plenty of bedrooms to accommodate big families or large group of friends. A must Do Place to Visit."

  • Superb accommodations! Lovely home!

"The pictures do not do this home justice! It's huge and perfect! Everything we needed was right there! Short walk to town. Definitely planning a return trip! Perfect long weekend!"

  • lots of steps

"The home is nice, one bedroom upstairs (queen and bunk beds), the basement has two bedrooms that are on opposite ends of the basement with a small bathroom with a shower downstairs, bathroom upstairs with tub. The stairs to the basement are open, so if you have little ones, bring a gate. Only downsides of the rental was that there are many outdoor steps, that wasn't shown in pictures when we looked at it. When unloading and loading, it doesn't seem like much. Then the steps to the beach are a hassle if you have little ones who need to go to the bathroom, or if you forget something from the house. The kids did like the beach, and fishing from the dock. Didn't like that we had to go through PayPal (think you have better options now) and didn't get a response back as quickly as I would of liked that they received the deposit. The owners parents live next door, so if we had any problems/questions they were right there (we didn't have any). The map isn't accurate, it's near Woodboro, so further out of Rhinelander than what we thought. Upside is the home is well kept, beds comfortable and the kids had a lot of fun."
