Bucky's PineIsle Retreat offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for an escapade with your family, a solo trip, or even a romantic getaway. Inside, you'll find a convenient open floor plan with rustic touches throughout. The kitchen has all the appliances you could need to whip up delicious breakfasts, savory lunches and dinners, and even your favorite snacks! Start your mornings with a steamy cup of coffee in the lakefront deck and take in the views before deciding your next moves.

Spend cozy afternoons at home watching your favorite series on the flatscreen Smart TV in the living room, or head out to the patio and sit in front of the firepit and let the storytelling begin! Your patio also features a convenient gas grill and picnic table, perfect for barbecues. If you'd like to enjoy the water from a different point of view, the private dock is the answer. It's a 48-feet dock and swimming is recommended. Back inside, this cottage offers two bedrooms on completely opposite sides, providing that much-needed privacy.

Beautiful lake but cabin dirty cabin

The proximity to a beautiful lake made the trip! Great fishing and boating! Nice fire area for evening relaxation. However the cabin was very dirty and uncomfortable. Will NOT be returning!

Good time on the lake.

We loved the fact that it’s on the lake with a dock. A public ramp is nearby for getting your boat in/out of the water. The amenities are all that we needed and the WiFi is a nice bonus if you have bad cellular reception. This was our second time using this property and we would return for another visit.

Cute place, rustic. 2 double beds so make sure you like who you share with :) Location is amazing, 25 feet to the private dock and lake. Had everything we needed for 5 days. No a/c but has ceiling fans. A free public boat launch is 1/4 mile down the road making it easy in and out.

Cozy cabin on a nice lake.

This cabin is small but comfortable. The beds are great for sleeping, and the smart flat screen TV is excellent. The kitchen is well furnished, and the gas grill works just fine. The bathroom is functional. I like the location, only steps from the lake. I would stay here again.

Lakefront cabin

Excellent location for someone looking to spend time out on the area lakes. Dock provided with property and a boat launch is a half mile away. Quiet neighborhood and town is a short drive away.

Loved being on the water having own private dock for are boats wasn’t as quiet as we would like though because neighbors were doing house construction but that’s not the owners fault and the beds are pretty stiff and house could be cleaner

The amazing lake and the cabin’s proximity to it, made the trip! Great fishing and boating. Loved the fire area but wish they had chairs for sitting around the fire instead of old and dirty logs. We called and complained about the cleanliness of the cabin upon arrival. Candy in the corners of the bedrooms. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. Management offered to send cleaning staff to clean but the place is so small we would literally have had to move all of our stuff out so we declined. Have rented from VRBO multiple times per year for many years and this was by far our worst experience.

Wonderfull Place to Stay

Great location. Great access to the dock. Great layout. Driveway a little rough for backing in a boat trailer, but trailer parking along road was available. Everything was provided. Coffee maker did not have an automatic shut off. Bed frame only comfortable for people less that 6-feet tall.

Adorable lakeside cabin

We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is very cute, dock is great for hanging out and we had a short walk to the restaurant/bar down the road. This property was right on a nice and quiet lake and the lake view was very relaxing. Cabin and rooms were smaller than we thought but property has been updated and was clean. The only thing we didn't like was that the cabin claims to sleep 4 but only had 2 full size beds and one futon in the living room area. Be sure to bring a few chairs for sitting on the dock. Overall a very nice quaint cabin and property.

Warm & cozy fall Getaway!

Buckey's PineIsle Retreat was the perfect cozy, north woods cabin for a quick little weekend get-away for a mother/daughter & daughter in law escape. The location was lovely on Medicine Lake, with an amazing sunrise every morning, and a fall color walk down the country roads. We enjoyed Eagle River's Cranberry Festival and all the festivities in town. Also, loved our visit to the local coffee shop, with all it's charm, at Mug's Coffee House in Three Lakes. Came back to nestle in, do a puzzle, play games and enjoy a fire outdoors along side the shores of the quiet of the lake. The night star gazing was cool too. It was a relaxing weekend!

Great cottage in a great spot!

If you're looking for the rustic, cottage life, this is it! The cottage is on a GREAT piece of property a few steps from the waterfront. The dock is perfect to sit out on and relax. If you own a boat, there is ample space to tie it up at the dock. A little tricky backing your trailer in the driveway but it's not bad. Close to a great restaurant/bar on the water if you don't feel like cooking some nights. Friendly folks there. The cottage itself is just big enough for about 4 people comfortably. I've stayed there multiple times and will keep coming back.

Cute little place on the water

It was the perfect size for my husband and I. I think any more people would be crowded. The bedrooms are very small and the bed was not comfortable. We fished off the dock a caught a lot of fish. The neighbors are closer than we expected (with barking dogs) which was an inconvenience at times. It’s not the properties problem i understand that. The driveway is very tight and would not fit a trailer. Overall it’s a cute little cabin!
