The Plantation at Leesburg, Florida, north of Orlando in beautiful Lake County. A 35 minute drive to the Disney Parks/Universal Studios/Sea World and 45 minutes to Orlando International Airport. Close to historic Mount Dora. The Plantation is a gated, conservation community with plenty of large oak trees, wetlands, and wildlife (great bird watching).
This is a new spacious home with an open floor plan. The home sleeps six to eight. There are two large bedrooms plus a den and two full bathrooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a large screened patio, and a two and a half car garage. The home is fully furnished and includes all linens.
The large great room has a convertible queen sized sofa, large chair, and a separate sitting area with two accent chairs. The wall unit in the great room has a 32" TV and a DVD/VCR player. The kitchen/dining area has a dining table that comfortably sits eight to ten people and the bar area has four bar stools. The M-bedroom has king size bed w/queen in guest bedroom, dressers, and night stands with alarm clocks. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and the second bedroom has a large mirrored wall closet. The master bath has a large stall shower, garden tub, water closet. The den has a convertible double sofa, book case, and dresser. There is cable TV with ESPN for the sports buffs, Food TV for us foodies, HGTV for the do-it-you selfers! There is local telephone service with DSL. All furniture, linens, and appliances are new!
The community offers the following activities: Golf, swimming (three large pools), softball, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, shuffle board, horseshoes, and volley ball. There are fitness centers at two of the three club houses. The third club house, the Manor, has a stage, library, billiards, and darts. The activities directors are located at the Manor. Bring your fishing pole to use at one of the lakes or ponds right here in Plantation (catch and release). Do as much or little as you like! There is a restaurant on site, Club Tara, with a bar/grill room and separate dining area located adjacent to the pro shop.
